  1. No, I don't believe the law passed. They may have a compromise, or whatever you call it, where the homeschool kids in the knoxville(i think it's knoxville) area can play for their zoned school team.

..That is surprising. Was Blackman just clearly dominant, did Siegel self-destruct, or were there a few lucky breaks that broke the game loose for Blackman?

Who won siegel-blackman and cookeville-oakland? I bet the siegel v. blackman game was a good one, and I'm interested in seeing how oakland has improved this year against a top-flight team.

Cookeville 4-1 White County Pretty good game from what I could see. 2-1 with about 5-7 minutes left, White County was pressing down left flank well. Cookeville countered though, got a shot off a corner kick play that bounced in between the keeper and the post; GK should have been against the post better. Cookeville got a pk within the last couple minutes to wrap it up.

What are some big games this week for 7AAA teams and who do you all think will win?

    1. Blackman 2. Cookeville 2. Siegel 4. Riverdale 5. White County 6. Oakland 7. Lebanon 8. Warren County Warren graduated everything that i can remember and Tony. Cookeville graduated a few seniors who really did a lot for them, but they have a lot of other people who are ready to step up and return Roger U. who is really good. Blackman lost their best player, but they still have the other one(#7 i think) and return a lot of others. Lebanon i think lost three seniors with a lot of foot skills and a few other which will really hurt them. White County lost two of their best players but return about 7-8 juniors. I don't really know much about Riverdale, Siegel, or Oakland. I think there'll be a big difference in the top half and lower half this year, but it should be a tight race in the top half.

  8. Who won this game. If Blackman wins, doesn't that mean Cookeville wins the district, or has a very good chance of it?
  9. Yeah what was the score of this game?
  10. White Co. 4 - Coffee Co. 1, and White Co. 1 - Cumberland Co. 0 White Co. @ Oakland Tuesday, who do you all think has the better chance of winning this game?
  11. I had to post this in another thread too. Our previous coach did this cause he figured we would be the 8 seed regardless if played them or not and wanted to play other teams in the area (none of us agree with it entirely, but oh well). The new coach did it this year because no coach would schedule games here in White Co. and there is talk of us being re-districted next thus leaving us with no return home games next year. You can't just put a schedule together of twelve away games or force the other teams to come to your place. We're playing a full district schedule next year though regardless of what happens. Have you all heard of a new Murfreesboro school getting us re-districted or not?
  12. I definitely think we're better than last year. We are at least trying to play possession and spread the field rather than "kick & run". Our starters this year with the new coach played Will Lee's Cookeville Untd. back in the u-17 days a couple years ago. It was 3-3 with about 15 min. left, but our defense was gased and totally brokedown after playing great all night long with a handball in the box and failing to mark an open man. Anyway we hope that squad with some younger guys will carry us the next few years., but depth is also a major concern.
  13. We played Shelbyville in the pre-season and lost 3-1. They're a really good team with speed all around. They use it too with people conastantly running the wing and spreading the field. Sometimes our guys a head start on em' down the wing, but our guys in the center were too slow getting a pass off and they would instantly catch up. Shelbyville could be a top ten team this year.
  14. Do you all think White Co. has a chance at all to win a district game this year? I have a feeling it's the year.
  15. I wasnt ranking them like that I was just listing the teams, I wouldn't predct them that badly. I would predict them the same as yours except for Cookeville over Blackman and Siegel over Riverdale, and is Lebanon good enough to be fifth this year? Also where is the other thread for this, I didn't see it.
