Congrats to Cheese on defensive player of the week. WBIR is aweful, barely mention Justin, then talk about the kid they wanted to win. Why not just pick that kid an go on! The Indian defense is just stiffling. It must be like playing in 1000% humidity for an offense. Ole Hudson and Buttram have really come a long way since the start of the season as well as Sexton. And the Woodard boys too! Man, too many to mention. All of them hitters! They just have to start scoring. The boys can march the ball very well, Good sustained drives. Just Got to light up the Score board! As soon as that killer instinct clicks in the offense like it does on defense, Oneida will put up a bunch of points.

thanks pujo, all the coaches, starting in middle school, really try to push a sense of honor and pride. Plus, if a kid gets a personal foul, TL will make that boy run up and down hills until he sweats blood! The old school solutions are the best! Im sure it's the same in Hampton....good, tough kids. Harriman is good team. QB can flat out throw a lazer of a pass. Midway is a fast team, but I think Hampton may actually be quicker. I knew Hampton was big and physical but I was surprized how fast them Bulldogs were! There's gonna be some great match ups in the playoffs. Fun, exciting games to watch and play.

Good job with the lil guys. Got to love the defense! Now thats something to think about from your first post. Lets just play football year round. Well have a Fall league and a Spring league! Man, what a difference a coach can make. Starting with Coach Burchfield last year and TL this year. The "want to" is deffinately back. Sounds like Grace or Cloudland will be tuff this year. Of course, sooner or later somebody from Reg. 2 has to step up against them ole Bulldogs! Whhhhhhhhho Man, now that will be a game worth talking about, if everything plays out that way. Still some football left though.

Harriman played a very good game. They did excactly what was needed for an opportunity to win, and just about did. Very proud of Oneida. Way to show some guts and a quick strike capability! On to Sunbright!

We missed em both last week, on offense too. Both play lots of RB and FB for us. Lew should play. I don't think Hood is ready to come back.

It goes with being one of the largest single A schools. If it's not Oneida, then next time it will be the next biggest school and so on, and so on.....I wonder what the weather will be like in 2009. Will we still have nachos? I am not coming to games if I can't get nachos!

I think them Cowboys will be in a better state of mind this week. If they try to give the game away this week, I think the Patriots will take it! May just take it anyway! Man, we had that Green Wave by the tail at half. Needed a few breaks to fall our way and didnt get em. Great game, though. Wins come and go, but respect last a life time. Harriman will be competitive. Good, tough athtletes. I hope your Hampton boys do well the rest of the way. Great job this year. It is hard being the team that every other team circles on their calendar.

I hear the they are gonna move Oneida up to the NFC East. Hope Romo keeps throwing those interceptions!

I think this is directly related to having 4 Off Coordinators in 4 years. Once these boys build a chemistry and all hit at the same time. Oneida will be a devestasting force on offense. As good or better than the defense. It will be like playing with 12 players. Unfortunately, Right now, it's like watching a red light....waiting for it turn green....anytime now....in just a second.....just one more second.....

The ole Blue Devils beat Midway by 1 last year. This team will sneak up on ya if your not ready to play! Remember the immortal words of John Madden "Dont ask if the Mule is Blind...Just load the Wagon!" If Oneida practices well and comes out firing, Our young Indians will win! I still look for Harriman to pass more this game than any other. I have talked again with the old gypsy on Brimstone Mnt. and he assures me the ball will be in the air 15+ times on Friday!

I hope our young Indians remember to have fun! Have we lost several games? Yes. But the games were worth playing. Fun Games. Fun to watch, Fun to play in. As a player, you have to want these types of games! Games of consequence. How many teams loose their starting DE on Monday, then their starting LB on the first series of plays and still hold Midway, at Midway, to 7 points in one half? Everyone wants to win. Sometimes you pull it off, sometimes not. Right now the boys should relax and have fun. We have a core group of linemen who are committed to winning. Around them is a laundry list of boys who step up every game and make plays. The faithful shall be rewarded in heaven and on the football field. Stay focused! Listen to TL and Coach Wright! Practice hard and the wins will come. Nothing left to do this year but go out, have a good time and smack some folks around!

Yeah, the lil fellers are funny. As For the bigger boys ...Man, Congrats on the win! It's tough when your team is that much better than another. Especially just wanting to play hard. There's nothing you can do as a coach. Those are tough games. I hate to see teams that play up to the better folks and down to the less talented groups. Good to see your boys playing tough across the board! Have a good week of practice.

Hey pujo, How did your lil guys do this weekend. It was burning hot over here Saturday, we had two very lil boys puke on the field. First time I have ever seen an offical time out to clean the ball! Gotta love 6 yr olds!

I am very proud of this team. I didn't think they would be this good, this year. What a schedule. Every single tough game has been away....except Hampton! If our Indians catch a spark at the end of the season, it won't matter were we have to go play. Fun team to watch.

After such a bizzare week, I am completely impressed with our team's mental toughness. Man, 7-0 at the half. I thought the Tribe was in perfect position. I wish Oneida hadn't lost that fumble on the opening drive of the second half. Might have made for a much more exciting game in the 4th. Hats off to our cousins down south. The Indians flat out laid the wood to em. There were a few hits where I was thinking..."No way that kid is getting up" The Green Wave jumped up everytime and fired right back! Smart team, well coached. Excellent condition and execution. Good luck the rest of the way. On to Harriman!

Lots of key match ups to think about. Lots of twists and turns this week. This had been a fun game to ponder. I hope it plays out better than any of us could have imagined!
