I just recently began reading all of the post on CoachT and I must say I'm not one bit impressed with the attitudes of the students/parents/fans who are in these forums. I've been involved with Centennial Football for many years and it seems like the teams that have done well in the past have played together as a team, never cared for "their own glory" and came to each game with only winning in mind, no matter who the other team was, how big the student body was or what the reputation of the other football team and how many w-l they had racked up. And let me tell you something........Centennial has adopted this same philosophy this year with a new coach (who is awesome, by the way), so all I have to say is WATCH OUT FOR THE COUGARS, they are on the prowl!! I'm not saying they are a powerhouse, but the "state of our team" is the best it has been in 4 years. If you want a winning team, play as one unlike last year when after our first or second loss, we gave up and we lost the momentum before we even walked on the football field....they were already defeated!
And by the way, Indy fans. Once you all beat up on us last year, and I realized our year was one for the record books.....I was totally on your side, hoping you'd go all the way. To see a new sports program become successful is so good for the students, especially those who had to start out without any program developed.
GOOD LUCK COUGARS!!!! My prediction.........Cenntennial 24 Indy 20............in a great game!!!!
