yes there is a fish fry tonight. It is at the field. I think around 10 bucks for it. Not many places to eat around chapel hill though. And usually what is here is absolutely packed on Friday evening. Esp if there is a home game. Stopping to grab a plate on the way to work tonight, getting real tired of listening to these games on the radio.

I think columbia academy will be in region with forrest next year! Another one moving up to 2A is Dresden. If it breaks down the way I'm looking at it anyway. Lol

IMO, I don't think Forrest is going to give up as many as Yall think. I don't think Watertown is going to give up that many either though. I think it's safe to say that most are picking H2O to win. Let's shift a bit, what would be better for these 2 in the playoffs? A 10-7 slobber knocker, or a barn burner?

For the sake of Region 4, I hope the game is within a field goal. I want a rocket win, but I hope these 2 have some better luck in the playoffs this year. After this game, I'll be pulling for both teams the rest of the way. Unless of course, we meet again.

Uh, you do realize Adamsville will have something to say. I wouldn't count out Watertown or Austin East just yet either. There are some programs in 2a. None were as good as TREZ though.

I don't know if the rockets will pull this one out, I always pull for them. I think there will be some field goal attempts this week for both teams. This could be a low scoring affair or a barn burner. I don't think either team will pull away from the other. Watertown is a bit better than last year, and Forrest may not have improved, but they are still as good as last year. Hurts any team losing a standout such as Sweeney was. As bad as I hate to pick it this way, I think Watertown may win. But I've said that since game 1. H2O 27 Forrest 24 I hate picking against the boys in blue, they made me eat some crow against page. Hope they serve up another dish this weekend. To me anyways.

me too. Most of the more talented teams tend to have JV or underclasmen teams that can compete with average with the not so good teams, and sometimes an average team.

we may not have won any state titles, but the teams as of recent that have put us out, went on to the title game. Except the year Decatur co put us out. Adamsville and Marion have our number for now. Don't say we've never had a good program. Prior to this, if we made the playoffs, it was automatic you played D.A, FRA, or Ezell-Harding. I also remember of hearing about a Forrest team that gave Brentwood Academy all they wanted and succumbed to a 3 point loss, in the late 80's. Of course the time frame may be wrong on that. I wouldn't say forrest has ever been horrible. But They definitely have had some tough luck

I think the Tigers may have played their toughest opponent of the regular season tonight. Stratford may keep it close till half, but in the end, I'd be surprised to see them within 3td's. It will be well into November before they play someone that can match them for 4 qts. And that game will be in Lewisburg this year. Excited for my son to start wearing the TIGER blue in the spring.

He's ruck marching the Boyd about 8 miles to community at the moment. Wants to make sure they get a good workout tonight.... Lol
