  1. YANKER good to hear from ya...glad your dad is doing well. I know how it is when your father is not doing well. Mine has been battling health probs all year. Wish both of you well. Well gang here goes...wait a minute...no we are not going to let the zombie do the bottling!! I know I said I was going to let Gator live...but if he don't straighten up. Now, test time...MMMMM...SSMMOOTH...good gooly Ms Molly that is stout!! I can see visions of Patriots doing a War Dance...and the smell...my that mud from the Bayou de Chein...that is the deal!! Wingman bring em on!! BRFL yours is ready!! Focus boys!! Focus boys!! Leave nothing on the field tomorrow nite!! RED PRIDE!!!
  2. I will say it again..."REMEMBER WESTVIEW!!" We have got remain focused and be ready for whatever they bring to us. We must push harder, block better, tackle with all the force we can, and run like our tail is on fire!! Tail on fire...whoa...that's the Gator's tail!! I have told you and told you...no we are not putting that horse in the pot!! Use him to pull the War Wagon, but not in the pot. Get out of that...man here he goes again. Just when I get everything together...LATER!!
  3. Cephus the brew is doing just fine. This is batch is so black you can see your reflection in it. And yes Winger, the buffalo hide that Gator threw in there cooked right down. The only problems that I have had is those dad-blamed feathers...they keep floating back to the top. However I have found the secret...SCALPS...they hold them down nicely.
  4. Sick him RW...hehehe!! Good Morning Gang...the pot is just a simmering away. Got PLENTY of mud from #67 last night. Things are looking good. Does anybody have any insight into the D-line of NS? Zombie have you seen Gator? He did what?? Oh my the Gator has gone after one of those crazy Appaloosa horses from Horse Island this morning. I knew I would be in trouble with this rising water. ROLL RED ROLL...ROLL RED ROLL!!
  5. And lest we forget...if the backs have footing trouble so will the linemen...I can remember that myself. You really have to have good footwork as lineman if your footing is loose. Man this is looking more and more like a FOOTBALL game... Stir that pot zombie...stoke that fire Gator...MMMMM smell those fumes...NO...DON'T PUT THAT IN THERE!!! OOPPSSS...in went the whole buffalo hide. Oh well, maybe it will cook down. Who ya rootn' for...H-C-H-S!!
  6. Yep...Senior Night at Pat Stadium!! Should be an electric night.
  7. I know that this may be biased...but so are most of the others anyways...Henry County. Our running back and q'back are juniors and then there the front line anchored by #67 (6'4" 285). Look at the yards/game this o-line has put up in the division they are in. Just my .02...BTQ Counce was one of my football coaches at HCHS!! Great man.
  8. I would say that it would have more impact on the slashing runner of Mann...he would have trouble making his cuts. Allen would have trouble but not like trying to cut to make his runs. Another advantage would be in the passing game...the defenders would really have to work to stay on the recievers. They would have the same trouble as Mann in trying to make cuts to the ball. Just my .02 /cool.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="B)" border="0" alt="cool.gif" />
  9. Olddevil good to hear from ya...didn't know you knew that about the 'Foot. I will fill your order on the mud...I am sure he will have plenty on his pants and shoes. Talked to him yesterday and told him to bow up and get after it!! Will you be joining us at the game this Friday?
  10. I agree with all of you...as I said in an earlier post each game we now face gets tougher and tougher. We must remain focused and play them one game at a time. RW, you are correct in that no team plays at the top level each game...we have to be able to win those games though when we don't. Those are the times that seperate the so-so's from the real deals. Wingman...the rain water has made the brew better. Got the water for this weekend from the ole Bayou de Chein. Bring on the noise!! Bring on the fans!! ROLL RED ROLL!!
  11. Cephus man the pot is simmering this morning. We should all meet somewhere during this game since it is the last regular home game. Who all is coming this Friday?? I know...we could all share some of the zombie juice...yeah that is a great idea /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> No wait...don't put the WHOLE teepee in there yet...got a new assistant. BRFL sent me a mummy to help since this is Halloween. Yesterday the Gator was rolling off some the wrapping to wipe his...well you know.
  12. Man it is looking like it is going to be a GREAT nite for football this Friday nite!! I can't wait!! Wingman where in the world are you at? The 'Foot has been getting some great rains the last few days...this should make the brew even better. Let's Go Big Red!!
  13. Looking into my black crystal jug...hehehe...I see a very good hard hitting, running style football game. The condition of the field will play into the outcome of this one. Strength will be a key factor. Just my .02. BTW...where's the insightfully always thinkingly ever looking forwardly YANKER????
  14. I don't get it...is Maryville a machine or are they not a group of teenagers playing high school football like all the rest? Any team has a weakness. It is up to the opposing team to find it and exploit it. You guys act like who ever plays Maryville has already lost. Very interesting... /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  15. Cephus...he was too late anyways. I done got the brew a going...dang feathers keep floating to the top though. Bring on the bells, whistles, gongs, or whatever!! I have been to several games and all of them have some type of noise makers. The more the merrier I say. Nothing gets our boys fired up as much as when we make noise. I too believe that it is a good thing in today's society to show our support for the kids in athletics. Now let's see...Gator bring me that tomahawk...No don't go chopping on that...gotta run. RED BALL...RED BALL...RED BALL!!!
  16. My apologises HCHS...sometimes it is hard to tell the real ones from the fakes. Keep up the good work in your endeavors. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  17. Been there and done that...Michael Meyers is my hero. Take no prisoners...just like to have fun.
  18. hchsfootballplayer...you better strap on your chin strap tight!!! If you are truly one the players...and I'm not so sure...your butt better be getting ready instead of getting your mouth ready. We need a strong finish to this season. The time to be cocky is NOT now!! We have lots of unfinished work. Just as the Texans have a famous quote in "Remember the Alamo," ours is "Remember Westview"! So let's keep letting the score and play do the talking...and us few who wished we could still play. I have scraped the cast iron pot over the night and have started the brew!! Cephus, wingman, BRFL give me some thoughts on ingredients for this pot...Gator...give me back the scalp. You have the the Cougar scalp...it's shot anyway...hehehehehe!! 1-2-3 STATE!! 1-2-3 STATE!! 2-3 STATE!! STATE!!
  19. Good Golly Ms. Molly...that sure was a potent batch I brewed this weekend. I guess I need to let the Gator mess with it more often. Anyways, I just did a little quick math...we have scored 308 pts and our opponents have scored 78 so far...WOW!!! Keep up the good work guys! Two more to go!! Stay focused!! The brew this weekend will be interesting...Indians...hhhmmmm.
  20. Good Gosh A'mighty!!! That may have been the best brew yet!! And to think that I was mad at the Gator for messing with it so much. Never saw a coach that had so many crow feathers sticking out of his mouth. On a lighter note...we ate supper with one of the coaches from Munford before the game Friday nite. He was a fine man. Can't remember his name but he was a pleasure to talk to. Kudoos to him and if you read this...my boy is #67. Bring on Northside!!
  21. Well gang the War Wagon is loaded and ready to leave the black waters of Reelfoot Lake. Be safe everyone that is travelling. Get back in the wagon...don't knock that over...GGRRRRHH... ANNOUNCEMENT!!! FREE GATOR BITES are going to be served tonight at the game. BRFL I have a "special" bottle of brew for you and Wingman I have an extra serving of that intoxicating water from Buzzard Slough. See y'all at the game! Let's make some noise tonight!! WHO YA ROOTING FOR...H-C-H-S!!
  22. The bottling process has just been completed!! Loading the War Wagon now...get back in the cage...NO we can't take the parrott. Man this gator is about to drive me crazy!! Cephus, the black widow juice and Cougar teeth were an excellent addition to this week's potion. Oh I do have plenty of "Munford Cheese" for all...No get out of that!! Well I did have plenty...you know who just took a chunk out of the block. RED BALL...RED BALL!!!
  23. I agree guys...Coach Gaddis and the crew have made a very strong impression on my boy. Heck, that is what football is about anyways...growing, attaining, and achieving. Coaches are supposed to be a POSITIVE influence on the kids that they mentor.
  24. Here I am...been chasing that dad-blamed gator all nite. He got spooked with the weather that we had last nite and was hiding under the voodoo pot lid. Man am I ready for some good ole fashioned smash mouth football tonite!!!!!!!! It never ceases to amaze me as to how low some people stoop. My boy told me last nite what there supposed leader of a coach said after last year's game. He may be a good coach, however, I would greatly love to feed him a dose of his own medicine. I even made a voodoo doll just for him!! "Double bubble, toil and trouble. Fire burn and cauldron bubble!" BRFL, Cephus, Wingman have I got the pot churning now!!! And NO MASK!! Heck I've even got the gator stirring it this morning.
