  1. Good game Pats! Now time to get ready for the next level. Head and heart have to been in it to make through to the finals, but take it one game at a time. Work hard next week and listen to what the coaches are saying. Practice what they preach and play with intensity when time arises. Celebrate this weekend, but Monday is all business. Crappie tomorrow morning! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  2. Congrats from Belgium to the Pats, waffles for everyone! Chicken in the morning as prepared by the General. Steaks are coming soon. Keep up the great work guys. Roll Red Roll!!! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  3. I have been out of town this week and haven't been able to keep up with what going on. Last Friday night during the game, I heard that the Brighton QB was out, is that still the case? As always, the coaches and young men will be ready for the game. The beef up front will open some massive holes for the backfield, as always. Whether Brighton is a challenge or not, the Pats will win. I would imagine those that can make it to the game will see the same series of offensive plays, with a score happening quickly as has been the case all year. The playbook is thick and we as 12th man have only been able to see half of the first page so far this year. Tonight will be no different. Defensively, a lot depends on the QB situation. No matter, our platooning of players going in and out, depending on the down and distance, will keep us strong throughout the game. There should be some more strong hits from the Pats tonight. The three big men will have a great game. Jermain is improving every week as he has realized to stay low and clog up the middle while Teese and Miligan will play strong. Gallimore will be looking lay down some hits, he is playing hard this year. Daquilla and the special teams will have more fun tonight. It is great to have a kicker that can get some hang time so the guys can get down field and lay out some people. Hopefully, Bruce want have a chance to punt tonight, but if he does it will be a good one. I haven't missed a game in four years, but since it is already night time for me, I will be listening to the game via WMUFRADIO.com. at 2:30 am on Saturday. No matter, when Lance and Andy begin announcing I will be up, listening, and cheering on the BIG RED! Thanks to WMUF for streaming this live over internet so it can be worldwide. I have one co-worker from the Chezch Republic, one from Belgium, one from Spain, and one from Brazil joining me tonight to listen to the game. After they listen to the game, they will know what real football is and will be some of the first international Patriot fans. GO PATRIOTS!!! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  4. The coaches did a great job preparing the young men. The team worked hard and has at every practice this year. They are a dedicated group and have one thing on their mind, WINNING. Their dedication showed tonight, Sweet Revenge. The band is fantastic this year and have really added so much to the games, Great Job! The fans as always came out to support the Pats. Obviously, the turnout was not expected as the concession stands were running out of everything. To bad the horns weren't allowed, but the fans still made noise. Way to go Big Red, great job. Tomorrow is pork tenderloin on buns. The more we win the better the Saturday morning meals are. To bad no pizza this week from the Doc. Go Big Red!
  5. That ought to drive the sniffin' dogs crazy here or if you happen upon a road block. Patriot Stadium is not as large as "The Mound", but we have plenty of standing room which most were standing at The Mound last year. We will be tailgaiting, but nothing like in the Mempho. No matter whether as large a stadium or cooking as much, the Red Pride Personified will be fired up and ready to welcome the fans from Melrose. Should be a great game, as was last year. No doubt, the Patriot fans and Melrose fans are some of the best around. I look forward to the smack talk and am getting prepared for a verbal joust. Have a safe trip to Henry County. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  6. Looks like you got a good batch of Voodoo juice cookin' up this week! There was talk of a hog cookin' for this coming Saturday, but in stickin with tradition and listening to superstition, Coach wants to keep the Steakfest going. So, this Saturday will be steak and shrimp plus... Each week the steaks get 1/4 thicker and the young men deserve every ounce they get. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Looks like we will be cookin' a hog at the end of the season, when the boys can stay up with us. Oughta be fun! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. Thanks Yanker for the support of the Patriots and your prediction. I agree, Henry County to win! It should be a good hard fought ball game, especially if both teams are playing their "A" game. No doubt, the RED PRIDE PERSONIFIED will be ready. The team has worked hard all week. A multitude of the faithful are taking the team to our annual quarterback club steak dinner tonight with a guest motivational speaker. Of course, they always have one of the best motivational speakers with them, GADDIS! Joe will be in prime form Friday night and he will have the team pumped and ready. Many of the faithful fans will make the trip and are fired up for the game. The venue is fantastic, the fans are great, and the game will be one of the best in West Tennessee for the week. Nothing like Friday Night Football! Whats cookin: Steaks tonight and steak sandwiches on Saturday. Steakfest begins next week. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  8. No doubt at the beginning of the second half of the Northside game the crowd had diminished to an embarassing level, but let's consider that at the beginning of the game the faithful did show up. Tail gaiting was winding down and the stands filled up. Then came the power outage that lasted around 1.5 hours. With the outage, the cool night and moist air, the Patriots were up, and the fact that the next morning over 250 students were taking their ACT test, the stands became sparsely populated in the second half. Albeit that no one should take the score for granted, the fans or the team. We will have a crowd going to Hardin County, which will prove to be one of the best games of the week in West TN highschool football. Region championship is the name of the game and both teams will be ready for a knock down fight on the grid iron. What's cooking: This past Saturday was grilled pork loin with new potatoes, corn on the cob, shrooms, and smoked sausage boiled up with a cajun flair. This coming week should be marinated rib eye steak sandwiches and steak fries, with a possible special treat for winning the Region. Week 1 of playoffs begins Steakfest! /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  9. As an avid Patriots fan my opinion is one sided to put it mildly, but when considering the upcoming battle with Northside you must consider that this game will ultimately end up being a battle between the disciplined versus the undisciplined. After handing the game to Martin Westview early in the season, the Patriots have become a well oiled machine. No one can deny that the offensive line of the Patriots has gelled and is working as one unit. This affords opportunity for #1, #34, and #20 to excel and gain phenominal yards against all opponents since the Martin game. A lot of people are trying to compare Marsalis to Calvin of last years team. There can be no comparison, as both are outstanding athletes, but are totally different in the way they manage their game. To present, Marsalis is a smooth operator; smart, athletic, and to say the least fast. He manages the offense like a true quarterback should and demonstrates his abilities each play. His passing to #22, #16, and others is improving each game and has burned many oponents already. The offense is one unit and that can't be denied. The defense, well, they are shutting down opponents game plans. Period. Led by big Lamar and Singleton, they are having fun. The entire team is performing as a well disciplined team and this is what has elevated them to the level that they are demonstrating in their play. Northside struggled with teams throughout the season this year. I saw them play against Mumford and felt that they beat them on the field, only the scoreboard didn't agree. Mumford won the game. I feel only because Northside was undisciplined in their play. I feel that they are a very talented team and no doubt have a good running or scat back. This game will get down to discipline. If the young men on the Patriots team continue to play disciplined football, they will come out of the game victorious. Crappie was on the menu this past Saturday. Two more weeks to go before the steakfest begins. /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> Keep up the hard work and GO PATS!
