I hate getting on here and seeing all these fans talk about "how we are going to dominate" and "we are going to take state this year" and all that crap. No one knows what is going to happen during the season and even if you think you have a pretty good idea, you never can really predict what is going down.
Everyone gets on here and rag on the coaches after horrible game play like last Friday in Alcoa. Well, did anyone ever stop to think that maybe it wasn't all the coaches fault? Sure, they made some errors. But what about mistakes that the players made? What about that tackle that Littles missed? What about about a few more yards that Payne or Dixon could have gotten? How about a pass that was almost intercepted that was thrown by Greenwade? No one complains about that; they only focus on bringing the coaches down. True BDP is about supporting your football team and standing behind them no matter what happens. And in case you "fans" out there haven't noticed, the coaches are a part of that team as well.
I don't want to sound like I'm the perfect BDP fan but I've been at WHHS for a while. And I love the atmosphere of the fieldhouse before a game. Friday nights are what I live for. But I hate hearing fans dogging on the coaches. If you were so good, why don't you become a teacher and coach the darn team yourself?
