  1. Alright, I'm not here to make predictions - although I hope WH pulls a win this week. I just want to wish good luck to EVERYONE & I hope Polk has a safe trip. We love you, Blue. Make us proud. [:
  2. Not taking the kick at the end of the game is a sore subject to many WH fans. But the coaching staff wasn't sure that Trobaugh could make it into the wind at 47 or whatever it was. They weren't sure how he was under that much pressure, but obviously, he proved himself at Greenbriar. Everyone was glad that they gave him a chance to show his stuff, and now I'm sure the WH staff is kicking themselves for not trusting him sooner. But all WH fans need to drop the attitude and trust the coaches. If you think you can do a better job, go get your teaching license & do it yourself. The boys can't do it without their fans behind them 110% & that also means you have to let them be coached by the people that we have deemed qualified to do it for a good while now. The coaches are good - let them do what they need to do to get us farther into the season.
  3. I hate getting on here and seeing all these fans talk about "how we are going to dominate" and "we are going to take state this year" and all that crap. No one knows what is going to happen during the season and even if you think you have a pretty good idea, you never can really predict what is going down. Everyone gets on here and rag on the coaches after horrible game play like last Friday in Alcoa. Well, did anyone ever stop to think that maybe it wasn't all the coaches fault? Sure, they made some errors. But what about mistakes that the players made? What about that tackle that Littles missed? What about about a few more yards that Payne or Dixon could have gotten? How about a pass that was almost intercepted that was thrown by Greenwade? No one complains about that; they only focus on bringing the coaches down. True BDP is about supporting your football team and standing behind them no matter what happens. And in case you "fans" out there haven't noticed, the coaches are a part of that team as well. I don't want to sound like I'm the perfect BDP fan but I've been at WHHS for a while. And I love the atmosphere of the fieldhouse before a game. Friday nights are what I live for. But I hate hearing fans dogging on the coaches. If you were so good, why don't you become a teacher and coach the darn team yourself?
  4. I was @ the game and to be honest, I was a little surprised @ how we responded to Alcoa. We were so pumped before the game that once we got out there, it was like 'deer in the headlights' and Alcoa dominated. We attempted to make a return after halftime but I guess there isn't really a return after a 41-0 lead taken in the first half. Props to Alcoa. They were good. Really good. :] Hopefully, WH can pull it together before this Friday. I know that I'll be there, cheering for them in my blue & white.
