  1. The best part about Ryan Slack is that he is a better person than he is a football player and that says alot.
  2. What would the tie breaker be if this were to happen? Polk beats Central, Central beats Howard. All 3 teams have 1 region loss at the end of the year.
  3. A wet field = trouble for Central. By the way he was not put into isolation at school. I know this because my mother teaches at Central. First period was on "LOCKDOWN" but the rest of the day went as normal.
  4. Firt of all, no Central fan gives a flying rats A?! what you have a problem with! But since you are so CONCEARNED with Charger football let me give you the facts so you wont look like an IDIOT the next time you show your concearn. 1. He did not leave school early yesterday. He was there ALL DAY LONG. 2.He did not get into a fight the week after the choking incident. Where do you get this stuff? 3. As far as punishiment goes for the choking incident, the mother of the kid that was choked had a say so in the punishiment. 4. The reason the so called "GANG" was looking for him is because they think he is one of the people that gave them up. Thats right, the 2 kids that were arrested Friday night for drugs and shooting the home of another football player were YOU GUESSED IT, NOT CENTRAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS! If he told on them or not he did NOTHING WRONG! If he did tell on them well then good for him because he got 2 drug dealers out of the halls of Central. Once again for those of you keeping score at home, the 2 kids arrested WERE NOT CENTRAL FOOTBALL PLAYERS! Oh by the way, the kid whose house was shot up, passed not 1 but 2 drug tests last week to prove his innocence. But he was suspended from the team, missing the Tellico game in the process, till he was proven innocent . But you guys say that Coach Derrick has lost control. Now just in case you missed it, Jordan Jackson is being accused by 2 drug dealers who shot up the home of Jerrel Harrison of being a "RAT". The only thing Jordan did during this whole ugly weekend was go to the Meigs-Howard game and have to leave early because his life was threatened. But I guess this was his and Coach Derricks fault.
  5. That was the case untill late fri. afternoon, then the tssaa agreed to the forfiet. Has Howard played Grundy yet? If so that gives all 4 top teams a win against Grundy. If not and Grundy beats Howard then if im Howard, Polk, Meigs I demand the game to be played. If all 4 teams have a win against Grundy then all is equal.
  6. Polk won by 14 and returned the second half kickoff for a touchdown. Gee imagine that, Central having problems on kickoff coverage. I believe the score was 42-28.
  7. I know you were not trying to hide, I heard from some of the "Central Mafia" tonight who you were. If I knew it would only cost me supper I would have fed you a long time ago. How is your cousin "Cubby" doing. The last time I talked to him he was in Atlanta. As far as starting this thread it wasnt me, I was just giving props to Ryan. Seems like to me if a kid doesnt play at Polk, Howard, or Meigs nobody will give them credit. Oh well, the sad part is these are 16-17 year old kids that could care less what we think and we argue like their pros.
  8. I feel like an idiot, I just found out who you are tonight. I will see you at the Farm House or Memories and will say hi. Maybe you can show me how to hit a softball.
  9. What part of "If he signed today it would be D3" did you not understand? If he played anywhere besides Central you wouldnt be putting him down. I refuse to argue this anymore because arguing on the internet is like being a Bama fan, even if you win your still a loser.
  10. Go to Polk? UUUUHHHHHH, NO!
  11. Well let me bust your bubble. I know our region is weak but Ryan got noticed during summer camps going against kids that are alot better than he plays against on Friday nights. He was picked out of 200 kids NATION WIDE to go to the camp in California. As far as his size and speed he is 6'2 and runs a 4.5. Plus nobody on here said he was D1 material. However, I would tell you the D1 schools that have shown interest but you would just have something negative to say. With that being said if he signed today it would come down to a D3 school.
  12. Ryan told me that Kyle was one of the if not the fastest lineman out there.
  13. He did attend this camp. It was not a Nike camp but I believe it was sponsored by EA Sports. It was at the Rose Bowl and he did very well. He went to a combine in Chatt. and was invited as a result from his performance at this combine. Offensive lineman Kyle Long also went.
  14. As far as the Loudon game goes he only touched the ball twice the entire game so its kinda hard to have good numbers with only two touches. That game was a debacle from the word go but in the long run I think it helped Central because all they heard all summer long was how good they were. Now to t-mac. The Notre Dame defense probally saw the Sequoyah film and was keying on him. Im not saying he is hands down the best but he deserves to be mentioned with anybody. I will say though he may be the most versatile player in the region. He plays fullback, tailback, wingback, and the slot reciever position. Anyway, all the players mentioned in this post are outstanding players and deserve the recognition they are getting. With that being said, I look forward to seeing Hudson play at the end of the year and wish all the teams the best of luck.
  15. I have not seen Hudson from Howard play so I can not comment on him but I have seen Mobriant from Meigs and Slack from Central and both are outstanding. Here are some numbers on Slack, 8 carries for 96 yds and 1td against Meigs, 12 carries for 130 yds and 1td against Sequoyah (not to mention a 28 yd td pass) 10 carries for 142 yds and 1td against East Ridge. My point is, if you will notice the number of carries(or should I say lack there of)you will notice every time he gets the ball its a big play. Why he doesnt touch it 20 times a game is beyond me. Not to mention against Oliver springs, he touched the ball 4 times the whole game (2 rushes and 2 receptions) and had 130 yds total offense with 1 td. THE KID CAN PLAY!!!!! By the way T-Mac and coach j have you seen Central play this year? How can you ask someone what they are smoking when thay are just giving thier opinion?
