This problem could have and would have been solved several years ago if Englewood would have jumped on board with Etowah when the Central Knights were started. Etowah coaches and Branden Derrick did every thing but beg Englewood but they would not join in. BTW, Englewood now plays in a 4 team league. I know the Englewood supporters will disagree with me but "it is what it is."

No, I was not there. I haven't seen McMinn either and probably won't see the game with Central but I've been around long enough to know an average McMinn team is WAY better than a really good Central team. Plus throw in the fact that this is NOT a really good Central team and you get the recipe for a blowout.

LMBO!!! Are you serious??? The last regime WANTED to play McMinn but schedule issues would not allow it. The last regime did beat McMinn in that Micky Mouse spring scrimmage though. However, now that Central is down there are no schedule issues. HHHMMMMM Anyway my prediction is this game gets ugly and gets ugly quick for the boys in blue.

As a matter of fact why don't you check the Polk thread and what I have said in this thread then tell me who I think is the better program. Logcabin, I'm not trying to be a "know it all" but Brandons last year we played the 3 seed because we were the 2 seed. That's when we lost to Howard in Chatt. The year before we were the 1 and lost to the 4. Just helping ya out pal. Contrary to popular belief I'm a good guy.

I was responding to your "only one knows football" comment. If they played in college then they have to know football. You don't play at that level and not know. I didn't say anything about coaching but if I didn't think they were good coaches I wouldn't hide behind a bogus name on a message board and say they need to be fired. Plus, who are all these Heisman Trophy" winners Central has that's not playing. Give me names. I'm aware of Barnett but who are the other talented players? I will hang up and listen to your comments.

Let me see if I got this straight, Coach Goodin and "all his brothers" all played high school football and college, 2 of them even ran through the "T" in front of 100,000 people and only ONE of them knows football??? Sorry, not buying that. Plus, throw in Coach Massengale who also played college football and look at the number of Central coaches who played in college. How many teams across the state has this many coaches with college playing experience? Like I said in an earlier post, the "well is dry" and if the previous coach was still around, it would still be dry.

AAAHHH!!! the good ole "The Ad only cares about basketball" accusation. I laugh every time I hear it. Principal??? The current principal seems to want football to do good with all the "bad apples" he's allowed to stay around over the years.
