  1. Funny, the hundreds of people who know me in this program and in this county would say the opposite. Your the no life, pompous jerk who has dug one penny out of his pocket to help anyone in his life. And as for being a supporter the closest thing you have ever gotten to it is a peanut shell and a rubber band calling it your supporter..
  2. It gives us all solitude to know that your butt wont be in seat in our stadium. And here's a life lesson son, Being a supporter does give you voice, just ask any who are. But you wouldn't know anything about supporting. Im almost beginning to believe your an Alabama fan too...
  3. Whats really sad is someone like you putting your two cents in...or should I say no sense in about a school or program that you have nothing to do with. WOW you must have an exciting life!!
  4. Its that ego along with at least 12 others that keep the kids in their equipment, facilities, fields, uniforms year after year and its all done for the kids unlike people like you that may have a kid once in awhile that think buying ticket is all the supporter they need to do. It takes people like myself and others year after year giving our time, money and support that allow you to sit on your butt eating your popcorn and enjoying the fruits of someone else's labor and effort. Why don't you step up and at least join the QB Club or volunteer to work concessions or mow the field or do anything other than run your mouth!
  5. Hey, next game buy yourself another bag of popcorn. It might make you feel better about your lack of support..
  6. Yes he did but he's giving the new coach the choice and recommendation to fill the positions..
  7. For your information that meeting has already happened with many sponsors and supporters. He has been given the keys to the machine, now its up to him to determine the direction and the destination of it. And since you are so knowledgeable you should know that the new coach is concerned about the opinions of the sponsors, parents and supporters...after all without the $$$$ to put the fuel in the machine it wont go anywhere. And your "FAN" dollars for that ticket do nothing to help...
  8. Just rumor. I doubt he would pick someone with no experience..
  9. If you and Hardtackle had your way we would be giving all the kids trophies and hugs!!
  10. You are truly an A**. I will be involved in this program long after your connection is gone!! You cant be serious!!! I haven't said anything bad about the new coach. Only expressed the hopes and concerns of the parents, players and sponsors in what they would hope he can do to turn this disaster of a program around!! If you think " THE PAST" didn't deserve the complaints it received over the past few years then you are really out there!!
  11. Looks like everyone is staying but still looking for new OC and strength and conditioning coach..
  12. Ive helped that school more in the past 25 years than you could ever begin to...
  13. Why don't your share with us all your roll in rebuilding the program and what changes you will be a part of making them come to fruition...................sssshhhhhhhhh...........that's what we thought!
  14. He's been there so he knows what needs to be done. He's heard it from all the parents and supporters. So now the balls in his court. Lets see what he does..
  15. Everyone wants Coach K to succeed but that means a lot more than win and losses. The question is what will he bring to the table and do to rebuild the program. Here are a few things the parents are looking for: 1. Will he mandate a weight training and conditioning program that has results? 2. Will he recognize that the team needs depth and develop it? 3. Will he instill pride back into the program that has been lost? 4. Will be recognize the middle schools and see player development starts there and work with them? 5. Will he care about the community support and reach out to them to develop that relationship with financial supporters? 6 Will he work with the QB Clubs and reunite those relationships? 7. Will he care about the players and their college aspirations as they make the transition to college? 8. Will he reach out to kids in the school who should be playing but were not due to previous staff? 9. Will he realize that freshman and sophomores and depth needs to be built so they can step up when its their time and not forced into action before they are ready? 10. Will he instill Warrior Pride back into the program and actually attend a pep rally showing support to his players? These are just a few things that the parents feel have go by the way side. Some may seem petty but on the big scheme of these they all are greatly needed. If he can do these things the wins and losses will take care of themselves. Its time to heal the program. Lets see if Coach k can be the physician the program needs...
  16. As a broker the money you speak of is old money and old money doesn't have high school kids. The future boom is predicted south where the land is already zoned for single family homes and multi family units. Believe me, ive tried many time to approach those land owner about selling off their land and its not going to happen. Just look at several old properties out memorial with land and old houses sitting empty that the owner say they will never sell. They get more money for not growing crops from the government than they do by growing them..
  17. Your right that the north side has land but its not yet zoned residential. its mainly commercial and farm land that families for decades aren't willing to give up and lets face it..no one wants to live near the dump...
  18. I like coach K also but im doubting they will give him free reign to clean house and make the changes on the staff. Lets just hope he can turn around the player development program and get these kids ready to player on all levels..
  19. Not sure where your getting your number but here are the released numbers from RCS. Blackman 2375 Lavergne 2128 Oakland 1911 Riverdale 2023 siegel 1870 Smyrna 1987 Summit 1837. As for the feeder schools Riverdale feeds from Buchanan and Christiana, both with good football programs and soon to be part of Rockvale. The big difference is since the rezoning Riverdale has the largest area available for new home construction where areas like Blackman and Smyna are becoming saturated so as the county grows so will Riverdale. And the last Time I checked Smyrna hasn't done anything since the Shad run...
  20. Its not up to us to say anything. The proof and pressure is on him..... Lets just hope he's smart enough to realize what is needed.. 1. Get the kids back out and participating in football. 2. Develop players. It should be rare when the team relies on incoming freshmen and transfers to be competitive. It should always be next man up. Love transfers, they make your team better, but they should not be the only reason your team is competitive. 3. Get the facilities back up to a level that makes everyone proud. 4. Let freshmen be freshmen and sophomores be sophomores. Some will be good enough but it shouldn't be the result all the upper classmen leaving the program. 5. Hire the best available assistants. Embrace talented coaches don't be afraid of them. 6. Value strength and conditioning. 7. See #6 8. Promote the program. Promote the program and be creative. 9. Schedule to develop your team. 10. Embrace the Riverdale tradition.
  21. Its already there...On state championship trophies!
  22. I personally saw the list that was submitted to Nolan. Its clear to everyone that is was truly a pass the buck before retirement decision on his part...
