Giles County has won the last two contests. Marshall County coming in after a tough loss to Lipscomb. Should be a dandy of a game. GC-34 MC-20

Giles County takes it 33-14. Marshall COunty lost so that sets up a battle for second place in the region next friday in pulaski between MC and GC. Should be a good one

i think lipscomb is perfect in DI. Why? The Mustangs bring great competition. It's always a big game when your school has to play them.it's unfair to attack them because they arent in DII with a lot of the other private schools. The difference between private schools in DII and private schools in DI is that DII schools offer financial aid.Lipscomb is perfect right where they are. Otherwise, Region 5 would have been pretty boring over the last 3-4 years. Congrats to the Mustangs. Glad to see yall controlled MC like you did. It should be an interesting game next week when Marshall County plays at Giles County. I think Lipscomb proved that MC wasn't as good as they were made out to be.

Did you not notice the unsportsmanlike conduct that wasn't called right there at the end of the game after the big pass by Simpson?!? I mean it was right in front of the dang ref!! Definitely suspicious if you ask me. It's ok though. Giles County will be ready when they meet the Mustangs in the playoffs.

Well, I feel like Marshall County is heavily overrated, with all do respect to the Tigers. I could be further from the truth though. I guess we'll find out on Friday.

Giles County put a lot into the Lipscomb game. Will they be able to pull out the win over a struggling Creek Wood team, who is coming off a tough loss to Cheatham Co.?

Giles County played a great game tonight. They had the Mustangs right where they wanted them but a turnover at the worst possible time is the difference in this one. I believe both teams will win out and will face each other again in the playoffs. Good luck on the rest of the season for DL and Giles.
