i just wondered how people felt about going to memphis. i know that team mitchell played last year brought about 8 people.

no man. crockett co. had alot more fans than mitchell had at that game. i think the student section for crockett had more ppl than mitchell. we took 2 buses of fans down there! where do u get 8 from?

not only did ricky taylor and justin blake have great games...kenny greer played awesome tonight. he may have had more points than taylor. but overall tonights game was one of the best games i've seen in a while. good luck to both teams in substate. maybe we can both put them memphis boys out and meet again.

Ricky's teammate Kenny Greer looks like an OVC type talent. There were 2 or 3 college recruiters at the Bolivar-Haywood game last night.

i think he will end up at vanderbilt or louisville. and he's really smart so that helps a lot.

Troy is the sheriff of crockett co and i guess his boys are other officers.

Dyer County wins in a blowout. DC 111 CC 56. DC has 13 players score. Although CC had size over DC in nearly every position, they were clearly overmatched by the Choctaws 1st five, second five, and even the last five held them even.

 

Dyersburg wins easily over Milan 71-49. Early indications are the two teams from Dyer County are the cream of the crop in 13AA.

what do u expect when crockett loses 9 seniors? only one person starting for crockett got any playing time last year. lets not brag too much about beating a very young inexperienced crockett team. and CC only has one person over 6'2". and he's 6'5" and not very dominate. DC is very good and good luck the rest of the year.

mitchell always have their problems early in the season. they will turn it around. wait until tournament time and then tell me if they are overrated

Just cause he doesnt yell all the time or get in the other players faces doesn't mean he doesn't lead his team. He's a solid player who has an excellent shot, but can penetrate very well. Also, with his size, he can post up smaller guards and take them to the hoop. Taylor also shares the ball with a good point guard. I don't understand why he's getting overlooked. Justin Blake is a great shooter, but I think Taylor's overall, well-rounded game is much better than Blake's.

i definitely agree with you! and i dont know why he gets overlooked either. he's great. one of the best high school basketball players i've seen around here.

Everybody is talking about how good Justin Blake, Victor Mclin and others are! Where do yall think Taylor stands? I say he is in the top 5 best players in west tennessee including memphis! And i also think he is better than Blake and Mclin. But thats my opinion and everyone is entitled to one.

Gibson Co.-Has 3 starters returning in Hamilton Hudson, Nick Santaniello, and Ethan Ellis...lots of guard play, will mostly be a run and gun team IMO

Dyersburg-They will fall on the shoulders of Victor McLin...Dburg will go as he goes...

Martin-Returning 3 pt. shooter Marcus Easley...If he's on Martin should be on!

Crockett Co.-Returns 2 starters from last years team...Don't think they have enough good depth to go with it

Obion Co. Central-Young talent this year returning one of the most under-rated players in the District in Nick Gilliam

Milan-No clue who they return...I know Quinn Hunt is gone and that's about all they had last year

Crockett Co. has NO returning starters. They lost all 5 starting seniors and 9 all together

it was bc he kicked two punts off the side of his foot and they didnt go no where. he's a better field goal kicker than punter

still a 1:40 can be alot of time in football. and all they needed was about 15 or 20 yards to get in field goal range for there kicker. he kicked a 40 yarder against fayette ware earlier this season. and tell me why they would kick a hurry up field goal on third down with 25 seconds left in the half. they were in the red zone. how do u explain that call. the defensive cooridinator did a good job but i cant say the same for the offense. thats my opinion. and if i had my teaching degree because i would love the coach the athletes they have.

the only reason haywood lost tonight is because of horrible coaching. they had a 1st down on their own 45 yard line with 1:40 or so seconds left and they throw the ball 4 straight times. there is no excuse for that. it was stupid. they have 2 really good running backs and they decide to pass the ball, and their passing game is very weak. it was the dumbest job of coaching ive seen in a long time. Haywood's coach blew the game and the players didnt deserve it. they shouldve won.

if crocketts D plays like they have been playin i expect crockett to win by 2 scores but it will be hard to stop big ken james and speedy micheal newbern. good luck crockett. CC-28 SS-13
