  1. LOL I assume you meant the sleeping giant of Region-6, although I certainly hope that you're talking about the sleeping giant Hendersonville. If it makes you feel any better, I couldn't care less who you are, to me you're just some random obnoxious poster here to start a fight.
  2. Good luck to the Bisons of Station Camp. Represent Sumner County well!
  3. Let me clarify my post: Antioch has many very athletic players Antoch is undisciplined and relies on only the most athletic player, which is why they aren't so great Is that clearer?
  4. Hendersonville Gallatin Brentwood Franklin (in a closer than expected game!)
  5. There's metal bleachers on the visitor side. Do get there early though, the parking gets pretty packed. There is a visitor ticket booth across the field from the main gate if you don't feel like squeezing through the main gate. This seems like it's going to be a great game and I'm pumped to finally get to see Ravenwood in person. I think ya'll are moving to 6A if I'm not mistaken, so this could be the first and last meeting of HHS and RHS. Does anyone have any insight on Ravenwood's offense? I don't know if anything has said anything about them yet.
  6. Does anyone here actually have any real game analysis? Matchups, players to watch, game styles, etc.?
  7. I can guarantee each and every last poster on this site that Hville is in no way overlooking Ravenwood. The seniors on this team were sophomores when HHS walked into Franklin as a 4 seed and knocked out one of the best teams in the state. They know what can happen in any game in the playoffs. But this is just another in a long series of games it seems. Every week it's "Hendersonville hasn't played a team like _______", guys it gets old, seriously. Hville hasn't played chumps week in and week out. Station Camp, Beech, Gallatin, Hunter's Lane, there's 4 games that many teams in this state would have trouble competing with and Hville did it, losing only one. I'm not going to guarantee an HHS win, I can't do that, it all depends on how they come out and play Friday night. If they come out and play like they have for these last few weeks, they win no doubt, if they're not into it, they probably lose. Either way, it should be fun.
  8. Antioch is very athletic. Antioch is undisciplined and relies on one player.
  9. Keep this thread away from discussions on where certain posters went to college please, keep focused on HHS v RHS Friday night! Commandos will win, enough said.
  10. Good luck to ALL Sumner County teams this week. Good to see football in this county getting back to where it should be just before most of us are joined together. Should make for some great games!
  11. Hville never gets respect, I had to get used to that long ago. Even this season when they're beating better teams than both Gallatin and Hunter's Lane were, they were always the "other" good team in this region. It's just a sad fact of life, you never get respect these days if you aren't flashy and putting up a ridiculous amount of yards I guess. I mean, look now, Hendersonville gets disrespected by having people picking a 4 seed to kill them. Oh well, just have to show another team what HHS is all about I guess.....
  12. The way you guys talk about Centennial's speed, ya'll should be undefeated. Gallatin isn't some crappy 5A team guys, they have athletes as well.
  13. I think this will be the best game between 5-5A and 6-5A personally.
  14. Brentwood will roll over Antioch. This will be the most lopsided game of the Region 5 and Region 5 matchups. Prove me wrong Bears!
  15. Smyrna will roll. How has that stud RB done this year for the Bulldogs?
  16. By the way, all this talk about Rector, we got a pretty dang good coach at Hville in ole Bruce Hatfield.
  17. Hunter's Lane is tough, but they can be beaten. Should be a good game. Franklin in a close one.
  18. Great to see Hendersonville and Gallatin going perfect against the Metro teams in the final year of 5-5A. /biggrin.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  19. So you think Hville can win but you pick them as 17 point underdogs. That's interesting. I've never heard of someone picking a 4 seed to win by that much, I don't care who the 4 seed is. They might win, I don't know, it all just depends on how Hville plays I guess. With all the talk that region 6 spews out EVERY YEAR, they better sweep the first round.
  20. Oh, I wasn't trying to start anything, just wondering if there was clearly a problem with Gallatin. But playing without a #WR and RB will do that to a lot of teams ha. Hopefully we'll both be lucky enough to make it through and meet each other again.....won't be easy getting through any of the Region 6 teams though.
  21. (Cough) 9-1 record- Region 5 5A champs- number #1 seed in the playoffs- beat Gallatin and Hunter's Lane in back to back weeks (cough) but yeah, dwell on their worst played game of the season man
  22. Oh man, I give up lol. Clearly Hville will never be picked to be the winner in any game they play. Time to keep playing the underdog role boys.
  23. Is Gallatin burning out, or are they just playing good physical teams? Seems like a bad sign going into the playoffs for the Green Wave.
