  1. Or congrats to williamson co schools rhs brentwood cent franklin page

And like years past say last 6 years a wilco team made it to state while u us31 boys stayed home. . . . .

Man are you obnoxious. Are you that pathetic that you have to come to a Sumner County thread to build up your Williamson County teams?

We're not even talking about other regions here, just congratulating Sumner County teams on multiple levels for having great years. Sorry you felt the need to belittle teams that you quite clearly know nothing about.

  2. An interesting stat, Centennial has beaten only one team with a winning record all year.

    Hasn't Gallatin only beaten two? /huh.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="huh.gif" />

Doesn't matter, Gallatin will handle this epic team speed and get the W.

  3. "Rappy", you will have to do a lot worse than that to "get-under-my-skin". Are we playing a game of "pin-the-tail-on-Kingz615" because I feel like everyone is searching for my secret identity (what am I?... Batman). I have been called "Nick Smith's Dad" by Independence fans, a "Franklin High School Student" by Ravenwood fans, and a "Franklin Football Insider" by Franklin supporters...Keep guessing suckers! I can just imagine a group of (insert high school HERE) supporters hovered around a computer reading the latest "kingz615" post, people's cell phones constantly ringing spreading the news about a new infamous post from the "villain-of-CoachT"...Do you want to really know who I am?

I am "the truth" because they say "the truth hurts", and it seems like every time I re-appear on the message boards of CoachT somebody's feelings get hurt. I simply present the truthful facts (In an offensive manner).

I feel sort of bad for H'ville, because they drew the proverbial "short-straw" in the first round opponents. The one team that honestly no single team wants to play once November rolls around is Ravenwood. Maybe there is something about the "one-and-done" principle that awakens the "sleeping-giant" of Region-5.

Consistency causes Inconsistency- Ravenwood's constant assault of the Hendersonville O-line/ back-field will cause confusion & panic, which lead to a change in game rhythm. Which eventually gives birth to inconsistent play (3-and-outs). Ravenwood's Offense just needs to keep the ball moving, and wait for H'ville to overextend their boundaries, at which point a simple flare route will break the game wide open.

WHEN SATURDAY MORNING COMES...HENDERSONVILLE WILL REALIZE THAT THE #1 SEED MEANS NOTHING AGAINST THE RAVENWOOD RAPTORS

    LOL

I assume you meant the sleeping giant of Region-6, although I certainly hope that you're talking about the sleeping giant Hendersonville.

If it makes you feel any better, I couldn't care less who you are, to me you're just some random obnoxious poster here to start a fight.

  4. I've have no doubt about Hendersonville being an excellent team, you don't win region titles against good competition without be real good. Therefore, I cannot see how you can claim to be underdogs, especially since it is at Hendersonville. It just don't make sense for a Region champ to be playing a home game to be claim underdog role.

Some posters really like to get on here, stir it up for their daily dose of excitement, and play make believe. It get annoying when you can get into deceit discussion and fun tidbit leading up to the game.

I read where Hendersonville tailgater like to set up around the main gate off Cherokee Road. I had Google the field. I can see the visitor stands are on Indian Lake Road side which is a straight shot off the bypass. It seems access and parking is not to bad. The visitors bleachers situated between the forty's but very tall. Is the bleachers metal or concrete seating like Smyrna?

There's metal bleachers on the visitor side. Do get there early though, the parking gets pretty packed. There is a visitor ticket booth across the field from the main gate if you don't feel like squeezing through the main gate.

This seems like it's going to be a great game and I'm pumped to finally get to see Ravenwood in person. I think ya'll are moving to 6A if I'm not mistaken, so this could be the first and last meeting of HHS and RHS. Does anyone have any insight on Ravenwood's offense? I don't know if anything has said anything about them yet.

  5. I can guarantee each and every last poster on this site that Hville is in no way overlooking Ravenwood.

The seniors on this team were sophomores when HHS walked into Franklin as a 4 seed and knocked out one of the best teams in the state. They know what can happen in any game in the playoffs. But this is just another in a long series of games it seems. Every week it's "Hendersonville hasn't played a team like _______", guys it gets old, seriously. Hville hasn't played chumps week in and week out. Station Camp, Beech, Gallatin, Hunter's Lane, there's 4 games that many teams in this state would have trouble competing with and Hville did it, losing only one. I'm not going to guarantee an HHS win, I can't do that, it all depends on how they come out and play Friday night. If they come out and play like they have for these last few weeks, they win no doubt, if they're not into it, they probably lose. Either way, it should be fun.

  6. Here are some facts. Hville has faced the spread this year. They have chased Terrance Davis, Cody Matthews, etc. As far as the coaching staff Bruce Hatfield has been to the finals 2 times in 11 years and they have a veteran staff, Coach Griffith and Coach Bundy are Hville guys who have been on the staff over 10 years. Have they faced someone like coach Rector this year, no. Do I think they will spread Hville out and try to get mismatches like they did against Gallatin a couple of years ago, yes. I think the key is Hville's running game and the Yazzie factor. Everybody says they will stop him, Gallatin did not, Antioch did not, Hunters Lane did not. I have a lot of respect for RHS and Coach Rector but it is still obvious no one respects Hville. Look at the preseason ratings, look at the mid state top 10, look at the posts on this website. The 2001 team heard the same things, no athletes, no speed, no playmakers, old school coach. The Commandos will just go out Friday night and do the same thing they do every week, play hard and see what happens.

Hville never gets respect, I had to get used to that long ago. Even this season when they're beating better teams than both Gallatin and Hunter's Lane were, they were always the "other" good team in this region. It's just a sad fact of life, you never get respect these days if you aren't flashy and putting up a ridiculous amount of yards I guess. I mean, look now, Hendersonville gets disrespected by having people picking a 4 seed to kill them. Oh well, just have to show another team what HHS is all about I guess.....

  7. No hville is a very good team the record stands for itself and its no discredit to HHS at all do I think they could beat RHS sure they can that's why we play the game but do I think HHS wins no I don't. RHS plays up to the competition and has one of the best coach and coaches in the state.

Plus they play in such a tough region ( for most part all games are like your HHS - gallatin type game)so they are prepared and travllin to sumer co. Will not faze them.

I expect slugfest on d side of the ball

No horse in the race for me but good luck congrats on season

So you think Hville can win but you pick them as 17 point underdogs. That's interesting. I've never heard of someone picking a 4 seed to win by that much, I don't care who the 4 seed is. They might win, I don't know, it all just depends on how Hville plays I guess. With all the talk that region 6 spews out EVERY YEAR, they better sweep the first round.

  8. Gallatin came out a little flat thinking that they had an easy game, but the Wave was without their starting RB and and their #1 WR (precautionary measures). You just worry about Ravenwood, H-ville. Hope to see yall in a couple more weeks

Oh, I wasn't trying to start anything, just wondering if there was clearly a problem with Gallatin. But playing without a #WR and RB will do that to a lot of teams ha. Hopefully we'll both be lucky enough to make it through and meet each other again.....won't be easy getting through any of the Region 6 teams though.

  9. (Cough) Thursday night lights- Beech vs Hendersonville (cough)

(Cough) 9-1 record- Region 5 5A champs- number #1 seed in the playoffs- beat Gallatin and Hunter's Lane in back to back weeks (cough) but yeah, dwell on their worst played game of the season man
