From what I have seen from some of these coaches I would probably be overqualified. Let me ask you all a question? How do you feel about Tennessee football right now? Do you see any similarities? I do Both Mike Mansfield and Phil Fulmer need to jerk a knot in some assistant coaches!

Sorry to screw ya up there buddy, but the facts are that from what has been shown so far Camden is the better team and should win this one. See, all these years ya'll thought we were being cocky, but the fact is we can tell good football from bad football over here. Right now Camden is playing good football and we simply aint .

I am not kin to any member on the team right now, I'm just an old fart who has played in and watched enough Huntingdon games to know that what I'm seeing right now is not MUSTANG FOOTBALL. I'll say again also I respect Mike Mansfield and Peewee. But I'll also call a spade a spade. And no I am not that person that is putting flyers out but if I could find out who it is I would be glad to help them. And hopefully Wombles could take a couple of more with him.

You want to talk about cute, I will take this guy over that guy any day! Sir obviously you havent been watching the results since that fateful night. And no I'm not talking about Weathers you are correct he is a warrior he should be getting more touches running the ball, and passed to out of the backfield, and playing defense. I'm talking about a former Ripley head coach who is the "spotter" for the offense deciding that after pounding the ball to get to the 20-30 yd line he feels the need to get in the shotgun and start throwing all over the field, its happened all year!

Yeah and maybe instead of being on coacht reading they should be more concerned with learning proper blocking technique.

I have no complaint with the kids on the line and you are right losing Ethan has hurt the last two years. However the blocking schemes, playcalling, and whole offensive philosophy stink. You are right about the punt and kickoff returns......but who keeps putting him back there? I would hope any player or coach would take my words as a challenge.....maybe even get a little p!ssed off about it.

I'm not even speaking about Camden. I expect Camden to demolish us, unless we get our own house in order. Is that enough respect for you?

You have to earn your respect over here, and Mansfield has got mine, he just needs to step back and look at the decline of our Oline over the last three years....the decline of our offense as a whole over the last three years to see that somebody, or bodies isnt getting the job done. The fact that nobody from Huntingdon has called me on my comments pretty much should rest the case. I speak the truth. With the right changes Huntingdon could still be a decent team. Trust me the kids will keep fighting til the coaches throw in the towel...like they did when they tried that stupid fake field goal against McKenzie. Nobody over here is exempt to criticism. Thats what tradition should be about, expecting the best out of the players and the coaches putting the best players in the lineup and coaching them up instead of coaching them down.

In the past we have done more with less. Camden is on the upswing but I hope you dont actually think you beat a good team last year.....and trust me we aint good this year either. Its a sad day when McKenzie players and fans are saying they cant understand why we dont use our talent better. I guess us old diehards just expect a little more than we been seeing.

I might suggest that you scurry on back and support whatever school you normally root for rat. Lexington has their own problems. I havent missed a Huntingdon game since 1972 so I think that qualifies me to make a comment if i want. I got no beef with Mansfield other than the fact that he has turned the offense over to someone who is more interested in trying to be cute than fundamentally sound. Why do we consistently run the ball down to the opponents 30 with Weathers and then feel the need to get in the shotgun and go to passing? Maybe because our "spotter" wants a little glory for his boy? Jimmy has always had "senioritis" but Mike has usually ended up putting his foot down and stopping the nonsense. I will support Mike Mansfield until he decides to retire but he needs to grab control of his program. The players that are out their getting their jobs done dont deserve for the same 2-3 players making the same stupid mistakes costing them a chance at games.

If Huntingdon coaches would get their heads out of their tails and get the best players on the field ireguardless of their seniority we might stand a chance. Theres some kids playing now that dont belong. Spit on depth at this point it should be about survival. Chad Jordan at Bruceton runs the ball 40+ times a game and plays every down of defense but our best weapon gets the ball about 15-20 times a game (and we throw it 40 yards downfield into triple coverage the rest of the time) and doesnt play a lick on D. Hmm does anybody remember Weathers WAS a starter on Defense? I have never seen a more disorganized mess from a group of Huntingdon coaches since Sturdivant was here. DISGRACEFUL.
