I just read the players of the week.I've got no problem with Taylor being our best player most any week.On the other hand,if any team that watches a DB game film just leaves a running back to block our little LB on the far left side of their offensive end ?They could then slip the back into the flat whenever they want or put passes behind the little blitz as WB did.If I can see it,you know a good 5a coach will see it.They can just run over that side as Karns did until we went to a 42 with Taylor and Kilgore.

I have no ideal who got player of the game.I would say it would have to be the cornerback who blew it open in the second half.Maybe one of the defensive linemen would be my next choice.

Part of this sounds like some of the post I've read on DB's earlier game post. Coaching is like American politics. Every move they make is going to make part of the people mad every time,and some of the people all of the time.I think we both have programs,{present and past} that most fans would die for.I think our coach and his staff are great and wouldn't trade them for very many staffs around the state!I'd still like to see the play ran into the game on offense for DB.I'd like to see us use a 42 on defense with our best linebackers in the game,Taylor 33 and kilgore 18 to start things off. I'd like to see some changes in our special teams,punt returns for sure or just don't put anybody back . I'd like to see some people out of the game when we have a game won,so we don't have to go deeper down the bench to start another game.That's a short list when your talking about hundreds of coaching moves during a season.

Yes,and I don't know how bad.We have a bunch of guys that are hurt,and I don't know who will be avalible to play friday and who will be out.

We were playing Karns when I picked up the Oak Ridge vs Soddy Daisy game. I don't know who was talking but they clearly said they would be shocked if region2 didn't sweep the first round.I'm not saying it isn't possible,but that's not the kind of tact I would use. Later the announcers had an Oak Ridge kid on there that clearly said they would win the state this year.It was a week after the WB upset as they called it and I thought that's pretty bold.The kid was just a kid,but the announcer should have a little more common sense.We just finished a new concession stand for the visitors.Just in case it was an Oak Ridge announcer that said those things,we better make plans to build a press box twice as big to fit his nads into when he comes to Kingsport.

OR will be very mad or broken down from the last game. I think they are capable of regrouping from the bad showing last week. I heard one of their players a week after the WB loss,say they would win the state this year.

I just looked back at the teams that beat you.How in the world did you guys get beat by a couple of those teams.I allmost exspected a team that looked like an 8th grade to show up,but you have some real good athletes that should have killed some of those guys.I didn't mean to hit it twice,but it should be answered twice anyway

Trent was something special on the field last night.That's what a linebacker looks like,{big,mean and strong}.Take on the defense and not hide in the shadows and jump out from the blind spots. In other words,hit somebody and make them like it.He was the man on our field last night

You had the players last night,they had no leadership!

If we put the same defense we used at Karns on the field and pass the ball when we need to.I think we can compete with any team out there.If we use the 3-3 on defense and try to run it to death on offense,we will watch the other teams games from home on the tube.Money !!

I thought one of the best players on the field tonight was the big linebacker for SH.The only thing he couldn't do was punt.We must be able to pass, tonight was a small look at what can happen when they stack for the run.Can we run the play into the game? Our special teams need a little more work.We had another close call on a punt return,I'd just get away from the ball period and mark that part of our game off. A great win for the Tribe but the preseason talk came into play at the end.

You live in Nashville and have no love for DB,but sat with the DB fans. I wouldn't spend that kind of time and money unless I had a deep love or hate for somebody

Now that I've got most of that stuff said,{Science Hill players,fans, asst. coaches and yes coach} have a safe trip over and back home tonight.

The big man is allso the JV coach?He better spend some time with your varsity if that's the case.It was put as if he is coaching the 7th,8th,9th and jv teams.If you guys are happy,we are thrilled to death.I'll take GC and wish you many more great 7th through 10th grade victories.

It sounds like there is plenty of talent over there.I would move the 7th or 8th grade coach up to varsity.

Type Dobyns Bennett football into yahoo.There may be a reason the "states winningest team "was voted state champs so many times. I'd say more than a few highschool fans would rather be on this side of that fence.Maybe you can drop by after hours with your best girl and see how the trophies shin in the east tennessee moon light.You want find a more pretty spot in the state.Roll Tribe

The only way I see it being a close game is by DB to forgive and to forget.Forget about it!.When it's all said and done, Science Hills regulars may score some more on DB's underclassmen.Granted,DB has nothing to gain except injuries and one more little thing, ''Continued Dominance and Pride ".That last part is for all the Tribe players and fans who are with us or gone before us.Roll Tribe.

I'd just as soon crown the Tribe right now,and forget all that field stuff.We did win 13 before the playoffs went and messed it all up.They are looking like a very good ball team right now.
