Looks like its gonna be a long year for Cloudland. I hope West Greene is just that good, but the Landers really lacked a lot of passion. Play calling and mistakes killed us. I know the people in the stands could see who the playmakers on this team are. Its too bad they are not getting used right. Good luck to WG the rest of the year.

I'm sure everyone will get their money's worth. Could be a pretty good game in Greene Co also. The way people are talking on here, Cloudland is going to run all over WG. The Cloudland boys better not go down there thinking its going to be easy.Best take the A game. Get Um LANDERS. Who is saying Cloudland is gonna run all over WG? I've not read anyone's posts who said anything like that. Most of us have tremendous respect for how far that program has come. I know Robbie and his boys are taking it as a very serious challenge.

Me and a friend are gonna make the drive down. I have nothing but respect now for West Greene's program. They are miles ahead of what they were in 2006. I'd do anything to keep that coach around if I were you guys.

West Greene will not run all over Cloudland this year. The Highlander lineman have lifted weights and the play in the middle has been phenomenal. They are way ahead of what they were last year. They do seem to be susceptible to get burned off tackle but that will improve during the season. I do think this will be a close game and I'm gonna make the drive down to see it.

You have to remember that this board is full of gutless cowards who hide behind a username to say things they would never say in person. Its usually best to just ignore them. I still have a high opinion of coach Shelton and his staff regardless if they have a tough season.

So, you are a Cosby fan? They don't need negative people like you. That game with Claiborne is just something to build on. They played a bigger and stronger team which will help them prepare for a much more evenly matched schedule. Don't give up after the first game. Be proud of what you guys have accomplished the last 4 years because Cosby has been competitive ever since you guys took over. Someone told me one time, its how you handle the losses that come with coaching more than how you handle the wins that prove what kind of character you have. I believe in you guys and I really believe that you all will bounce back and have a winning season. Just ignore all of the parasites that want to see you fail. I'm going with the dogs 12-6 Hampton is going to struggle offensively against a physical longhorn defense and it being their first game. However, I do think Hampton is the overall better team and it will come out in the end.

You must mean football and recently basketball because i'm pretty sure the Big Blue are always the whipping post in baseball for the Rangers. Correct me if i'm wrong . Anyways it should be a great year to watch some football in northeast TN. Is baseball a sport? I don't think too many people are in the stands during baseball season. The measuring stick of character is what these young men are accomplishing on Friday nights when they put on the pads and my friends last night, the Highlanders were taking care of buisness while Unaka was being shut out once again.

Whoever it is either has alot of faith or just likes to talk trash. You can't play but one game at a time. Well, I can tell you this. Hampton has the strongest offensive line in Carter Co. I don't think Cloudland is as explosive on offense this year, but they may have sandbagged during the jamboree. Your right, you can only play one game at a time. The Lunsford going to Hampton ordeal is ancient history as far as I'm concerned. We have to support the coaches we have now and there will come a time that Cloudland will beat Lunsford and the bulldogs. Its just a matter of when. While I would like to see it happen from a competitive stand point, I do love coach Lunsford and all his family.

You won't put up big numbers on J.C. like you did Avery. Avery was pretty much a jv team.

Pujo, before everyone jumps the gun, this antagonist is not me. I am done talking trash. I just wanted to set the record straight.

First off, old King would like to apologize for his no-show at the cook-out. Mark and Daranda's grandpa passed away. I did get to the watch most of the games and I must say that its Hampton and then everyone else. How many yards did they run for in that first quarter alone? My gosh. Another thing is I am impressed with the improvement of the Rangers. Looks like they have found a winner. Cloudland is gonna be a monster on defense. Even if teams break a big play on them, they will come back and stuff you for a loss. However, offensively they better improve or it will be a tough year with the kind of schedule they have.

Hey Pujo, are you coming to the jamboree? I'm gonna bring my grill and some deer steaks. You and your boys are welcome to anything. You don't have to hold back. You think one of those losses will be to Hampton now don't ya?

West Greene is no longer the whipping post of east tennessee. I'd say Hampton will be ready by season time. Hard to judge a team by a scrimmage.
