OK...Pseudo I'll bite. Maybe this should stir things up. Remember you heard it here first.

 

The 8 teams that will make it to the state tourny are;

 

Brentwood - Should be a lock

Farragut - Ditto

West - If they can handle the pressure to get there. But watch Bearden.

Cookeville- Seen them play and not my strongest pick

Cleveland - Said it once already, If they can keep their head on straight, should be there

Independence - Second best team in Middle Tn.

Houston &

Collierville - They are the west for now

How many times have you seen Beech play.. Kickball ??? You must be someone who's never played soccer. They are the complete opposite. I guess everyone has a right to there own opinion.

Really? kickball and soccer arent the same? man where have i been all this time? /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> when i said kickball i referred to having bigger girls clog up the middle and kick the ball as hard as they possibly can up to a "speedy" foward. I have seen many highschool teams play this style even at the highest levels but wait you guys from beech wouldnt know about that would you /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Anyways, this was not at all a bash to the beech program or hendersonville program at all and i have no dog in this fight seeing as my daughter goes to neither school.

by far my old rival school Hendersonville has one of the best...i was checking it out earlier today and its top notch i just wish my daughters program had some of the things hvill does...its not like JPII doesnt have the money!!

My pick is Beech. Beech's program is getting stronger and better every year. They have a lot of very young talent that will bring Hendersonville problems in the years to come. Beech is only losing 2 seniors this year and has players ready to replace them. As for thursday's game it will be a tough match and both teams will be ready to give there all. Beech has something to prove after that close lost in the District championship. Good luck!!!!!

hendersonville is by far a better team with more of a tradition on the girls and boys sides.this years beech team is doing far better than any other buccaneer team that i can remember, but the last 2 games seemed as though hendersonville was lethargic and in some cases not trying....not to take anything away from beech but this hville team was preranked #5 and hasnt showed they should be in the top #20. we all know the talent they have and russ plummer is a winner through and through im just waitning for the team to step up and i think that will be tonight. if beech wants to win, they need to score early and play their "kickball" game. for hville, they need to score early and keep the pressure up. good luck to both teams representing sumner county and district 9 AAA well

Lol. Dominate??? It was 2-0 Beech's favor with 13 minutes to go! A bad call and a very questionable 50/50 (non-shooting) penalty in the box with a minute or less to go led to a pk or Beech would have won the District. First game was a tie in regular season between the two and this one should have been a 2-1 Beech win at a minimum. But, you are right...Russ Plummer knows how to win and has a proven track record and it is really hard to beat them on their home field. Region finals will be interesting but you can never count HHS out. This will be a fun district to watch next couple of years though between these two teams. Beech loses 2 starters and are starting 5 freshman and beat Riverdale and Oakridge while I'm told HHS loses 5 or 6 players.

If you were watcking the game you would have known that hendersonville dominated the field and got a very deserving win

Ive got Hendersonville in a strong win, not easy but convincing..gallatin is in shambles after their "glory" season last year...i cant decide who wins between them and antioch..look out for hunters lane
