  1. This complaint was filed by a couple of head coaches in West Tennessee that hate Milan for different reasons.  One coach can’t beat Milan on the field and the other thinks he should be the Bulldogs coach now.  You fellas know who you are and I hope you feel like the Pathetic turds that you are. Now grab a comfortable seat at home and watch the Bulldogs make some noise in the playoffs. BTW, remember what they say about karma.

  2. Bulldogs offense is getting worse each week.  The spread offense doesn't seem to fit this team and quite frankly, they look like they've given up on the season.  South Gibson will win this game by at least 2 touchdowns.  not sure what's going on with the Bulldogs but Friday's game against Lexington was the worst I've ever seen them play.  83 total yards against a very average Lexington team, or any team for that matter is unacceptable.

  3. If you believe this, then you should come to Blount County. The little kids don't break down the film, but their coaches do and then take it to them in practice....and teams are scouted. As a matter of fact, the 10 year old kids in Blount County are getting the coaching today that I got when I was in high school ( that has been 25 years ago). The team my son played on had over 100 plays in their offense (some were same plays that were run out of different sets), probably 10-12 different formations ranging from 4 wide and shotgun, to two TE with 3 backs, lots of shifts and motion with the wide sets, it is not uncommon for the lineman to even be taught to pull and trap. You would be amazed at what a 9 or 10 year old kid can learn, and when they grow up learning this from the age of 7, then you can see why Alcoa High School and Maryville High School have been able to accomplish what they have.

Alcoa didn't 8 straight titles running 100 plays in 10-12 formations. They line up and kick you in the teeth and run down your throat. It's one of the most simple offenses you can find. Knowing what someone is going to do and stopping it is 2 different things. Football is about blocking and tackling, not a bunch junk plays and formations. I think Coach Rankin would tell you all that other crap is a waste of time.

  4. Milan couldn't tackle one of Haywood tailbacks all night. That was a big part, plus Milan played without 10 or so starters because of other spring sports. Milan has a new academic program that basically eliminates kids participating in two spring sports like they always have. That's why it really hasn't been an issue in the past. Haywood looked really good, and Milan will be fine.

  5. Cookeville is terrible location for the state title game. The game should be centrally located every year at the best facility possible. LP Field would be ideal, and Vandy was a great host too. Boro worked as well....T$$AA would play it in Atlanta if they could make more money. That's what its all about. There's no consideration whatsoever given to travel times, convenience, recreation, or the host city. It's all about the $$

  6. Bulldogs played great but camden really missed gaskin. Punting and secondary not to mention QB. The early 14 spot was way too much for the Lions to come back from. C. Coleman looked good in limted play. Milan O-line rolled Camden in 2-3 qtrs. Back to the Dog Pound next week. Best of Luck to Milan against York,,,,BTW...where the heck is that?
