  1. Lets go Cats! Lets get the momentum going for a run into the playoffs. This years playoffs is going to be wide open!! Anyone can win it. FOCUS. DISCIPLINE. WIN.
  2. I would have to agree. To the topic: I still think you have to evaluate a region as whole before making a statement about who is best. In my opinion region 4 has it THIS YEAR as you can only evaluate these things on a year to year basis. Reason being, as I stated in another post, you have to look at the bottom teams. I think that the bottom teams in region 2 can't hang with the bottom teams in region 4. So I have to give it to Region 4 this year. What does that mean.... Nothing Don't agree....Cool. Like others have said it really doesn't matter but it is fun to talk about and creates a good debate. To that end, I think that this years playoffs will be the most competive playoffs in years!! Usually you could fill out most of your playoff bracket with a pen. Well bust out the pencil for this year!! It's going to come down to whoever is playing the best at years end (cliche). In years past the top teams in the state would blow out teams. I don't see a lot of blowouts across that state anymore. Is it just me?? EVERY week is dogfight. I have personally seen games in both region 2 (Oak Ridge, William Blount) and Region 4( Riverdale, Blackman, Smyrna) and I must say the games have been competitve. I can't wait!! 3. I grew up in East Tn and there is a lot of pride in football in that area. I would say second to none as far as the community aspect. I have lived here in the Boro for that last 3 years and I must say I am really impressed. The passion here for football is better than what I thought. I can't wait for my son to gorw up and play football here! As for the question at hand, I must say that this year that region 4-5A is the best. Only reason I say that is from top to bottom they have better schools. I throw out the top tier teams form each region as that would be a toss up. I look at the bottom half. My opinion is that Soddy-Daisey, Heritage, and Bradley Central can't hang with Oakland, Blackman or Siegel. Just my 2 cents... I still am cheering for my region 2-5a schools!!
