The TSSAA site says Cumberland Gap is an automatic qualifier so that leaves another wildcard open.

Yep, you're right 8-2 this time next week for CHS. Shut down Fuson and it will be another easy win for the Devils next week. The Rebs did make a heck of a come back tonight but not stopping the run early in the game killed us again. Yet another heartbreaker for the Rebels. Some of the WORST officiating I have ever seen! Every time SG moved the ball they would find a flag on the field to take it back. On a more positive side I think Wilhoit broke the SG receiving record tonight, Haney had the hit of the night on TouchDown Friday Night and Susong set a new school passing record last week. Way to go #2, #11 & #13!!!! There may be a couple of more records in jepordy with a decent game next week by the Rebels. Good luck guys I hope you get to make a little more SG history before your season ends. Yeah great history this year. Lose the can. Lose to WG at home. Lose 5 maybe 6 games. This is a joke lol. Wg will lose in round 1 of the playoffs like they did to Greeneville... What was that score again. o yea 44-0 at half and Greeneville was nice and coasted the hole second half. Thats hilarious!!! So since Greeneville lies in the County I say Greeneville destroyed all county foes. It was like 158-46 in all combined county games. Wg is a joke!!! No wonder evryone in the county hates you guys from Greeneville. WG hasn't been very good for some time , but they have come a long way in a short amount of time. WG fans are proud and they should be. Sure they lost big to Greeneville , but hey they beat all the other county teams which means they are indeed the BEST county team regardless of what you and the SG morons say. I'm not a WG fan , but I've seen all the county teams play and WG is the best team. SG hasn't played "D" yet or they would be pretty good. WG plays solid "D" and runs a sufficient "O" which is why their better. Oh yeah ppl from sg are morons because we kno football.... And for one a county championship has never really been a goal for SG the past 7 years because we played to do good in conference and playoffs not the conference and county... In 07 it was a disappointing season no one cared we won won the county that was just a given til this year... but congrats thats the best thing ya'll have had in years... I dont like it but Greeneville is in the county so i say they have a legit arguement that they are county champs, but like i said it wouldnt mean anything to tnem because they are playin for alot more than that this year..

Greeneville has beaten Elizabethton 8 out of the last 10 times they played. While WG has won 2 out of 10 times against SG. So i guess when your not use to winning you would get very excited about having a winning record since 2002 lol Thats what i said too lol... they wont listen beating SG is like main goal every season i guess or atleast they act like it ...

Actually, if you would pay attention to what you say, SG did have more yards and more 1st downs, and there offense was pretty productive... I agree with 1standgoal, the better team did not win. Turnovers by SG won WG the game.... however, i will agree the can will prob be at WG for a while. WG caused the turnovers that won the game. Who cares who had more yards or first downs. The scoreboard shows who was the better team and if you have forgotten it was WG underneath your scoreboard with the can taking pics. We can post the pic if you want us to just so that memory will last a long, long, time. Thats cute i guess you have to take pictures to remember it when it only happens once in like 7 years... and we dont need that memory we got 28 memories of us winning it...

I sure hope they do. Their record really doesn't do them justice. C Gap is probably about even with SG. If WG had a tougher non-con schedule they wouldn't have the record they have, nothing impressive about them. Actually I think they were tougher last year. They don't have a rusher anywhere close to last year's Ward. Crockett and Cocke Co would have beat WG to death. They just caught SG on a bad night of play calling. Our D has struggled all season, that's no secret, only a couple of playmakers. Hope they get it together and get a win this week. We need the last two wins badly. They looked impressive carrying the Can off of the field last Fri. night. You Sg fans just can't handle the fact that WG is better and will be for quite a while. If they were better i would admit it... Take a way turnovers and kick some field goals the game would have had a different out come... but we'll see what yall say if they beat claiborne...

Well this isnt last year its this year. If ya wanna talk about previous years, when i played we killed wg EVERY YEAR.... never won by less that 35 and yards im sure we double or triple wg's...

It will be a very hard hitting game. IT ALWAYS IS NO MATTER WHAT THE OUT COME. I do disagree though. Horses?? I guess your refering to boles, who has been shut down by good teams... They may look like horse against bad A teams, but I say PONIES out there against greeneville... No SG is not as good as Greeneville but they are better than the teams you got most of your wins against, and they did put up 55 against CG in a loss. I just dont see the can leaving home. Yes Sg has a good offense and a great QB, but every one know Defense win championships. Yes Wg will have trouble against the pass so Sg will score. Wg has some good backs and Sg defense is not that good so Wg will score. Neither one of these team SG or WG are that good who have the 2 of them beat? SG beat Grainger Wg didn't but WG beat Cumberland Gap SG didn't they both got killed by Greeneville. So who to say SG or Wg win it may be a tie. You are about stu pid.... SG has one of the best offenses in the conference with no defense, so they are a decent team, actually i would consider them as good. As for WG, they are a team on the rise. I see Greeneville at the top, but second could be a toss up because SG may beat claiborne. So 2nd is really a toss up. Claiborne should beat CG so 2nd could be a number of teams. Grainger wont get 3rd. So one thing is certain that is Greeneville will be 1st undefeated tho.

So what about the Boles Express? Havent heard anything bout him lately.... All I know is SG's Shuffler got 200+ yards on 7 carries against a Grainger team that the boles express didnt get 100 on.... but SG dont have any running backs as good as Boles... ha lol GO REBS!!!
