I see this game being a little closer than the last 2 games Greeneville had, but i still dont see it being a good game. Shipley should have some success passing on Gville, but they wont be able to run much on them. I'd say Devils by 21 or more.

Boys had a good off week and are practicing hard this week. All healed and healthy they are ready to go!!!!

I haven't been able to get on here in a few days but I will man up and say Gville put it to WG. Our offense could not move the ball. No excuses we just got outplayed. the 4th and 16 conversion for a TD put the dagger in. The crowd was unbelievable and both sides showed a lot of class. Still proud of our boys they have a winning record still. You can say it was against lower talent but remember those teams we are beating now used to beat us on a regular basis. You have to walk before you can crawl. SG fans need not worry about WG, SG has enough to worry about on theirselves. I believe CG will give Gville a pretty good game. SG will be ok. Hopefully they will use the Grainger game to get back on track after their off week and come out on firing on all cylinders next week against WG!!

Grainger has had a lot of bad luck this season. They were down this year from the beginning of the season. When they first started a 5-5 year would have been considered a really good year. They have lost two of their best three lineman due to discipline issues, four seniors quit on a Monday after a dissapointing loss (I'm sure there was two sides to that story), the best remaining lineman has been out several weeks with a dislocated elbow, the two biggest guys left on the line did not dress @ Claiborne last week due to injuries (both of those guys go around 6-4 280), two others walked off the team and asked to come back and were allowed to come back after internal punishment which also included 1-2 games suspension from playing. The flu bug hit them hard one week which did not help at all with the remaining players. It just seems that these guys have had to battle all year one thing or another. The remaining football players are tough and dedicated. There are just not enough of them to go around. It looks like they play about 15 guys total during a game. This is including several guys that would have only played JV in a normal season. The coaches do a good job with what they have to work with. The team works just as hard as they would have if they had all the players they began the season. When you have to replace over 1/2 of your starting 22 positions it is hard to overcome. This is a great bunch of guys and they will keep working hard. Good luck to all the players that toughed it out and stuck with it. Man that is really unfortunate, but as long as they play hard what else can you ask for ya kno...

After an off week of rebuilding and getting back on track, how will the Rebels fair in this one??

Oh man what about them Buffs?? Such a close game and so much better than SG and Gville right?? Not at all almost scored on Greenevilles 3rd string tho...

Sure not a love fest barb, i dont even like Greeneville #1, he posts some of the dumbest things. I was just shocked we agreed on something. Anyways, game day, its time for the players to do there talking with their performance tonight!!

It at Rebel Hill! It should be a good one, unlike the Greeneville vs. WG game... And Greeneville #1, no problem. It seems we agree on something once... haha But the SG boys are getting over some soreness and small injures from the rough past 2 weeks. They will be good to go and ready to play next week. And im coming to the Greeneville WG game after i get off work at 730 or 8... so it may be over by the time i get there lol.... well over as in competitively speaking.

You are right the Gville fans have put some real dumb #### comments on here!!! I have never in my life read more uneducated arogant post in life before this game. I'm not even a Greeneville fan, and the dumb posts from Greeneville are basically one person(greeneville #1). And even his do not out weigh "Buffs roll 35-3".... I just dont see how the WG people think they are good enough to beat or hang with Greeneville. You CAN NOT compare these two teams' schedules. WG has been beatin up on some BAD A schools, while Greeneville has been competing with GREAT AAA teams... If you think you are at the caliber of ball team Greeneville is by beating the teams on your schedule, Good luck haha... your in for a rude awakening. I would normally never say this but with the way WG has been talking, I'm gonna say GO GREENE DEVILS!!!! Hope you score 100.....

CRAZY is right lol.... If you so much better than SG you should beat Greeneville no prob... haha... who am i kiddin.... Funny how ya say your better than a team you havent beat in, what, 7 years now?? So I'm gonna say Greeneville will bring ya'll back down to earth, or put you on your right level.

Wasnt sayin anythin bout the sg ng game lol... jus sayin sg defense is weak i admit it....

North Greene's defense would give SG's defense a run for their money.... but the offense usually picks up the slack except the past 2 week... anyways back to the WG Gville game...

Thanks, I will let Coach Case know. Although throwing the ball didn't seem to work for SG. I think finding away to run it and control the clock would be better. It will be a huge task for the WG O-Line but I think keeping the Devils Offense off the field is their only chance. Actually passing worked well for SG, they scored every time they didnt have a turnover because of there passing game....

Question,LY....have you heard of any local schools who have home-schooled players this year? Since TSSAA will allow them to participate in athletics at the schools they would be zoned for, I would hope to see some of these kids this year. Nope barb, i sure havent heard of it. I do think it would be a good thing for these kids to get involved into a sport with their local schools though.

Yeah SG lacks 2 things from being a great team... Linemen and Linebackers.... Too bad those are vital parts of a football team... but hey they only have two conference losses so they can still come in 3rd or better...

And he's smart too!!!! some cat from walters state said he was gonna skip the rest of HS and go straight to college.... Yeah so smart that he doesnt even have to take the ACT or SAt just go straight into and ivy league school im sure.

Really..... have they pulled Susong out of his ice pack yet?That kid has really taken a pounding the last 2 or 3 weeks. Suprisingly, besides beats and bangs, he does not seem to have any injuries from what i hear. The Rebels played terrible Friday. I dont wanna say anything bad about them, but dang...

Can the South Greene get back on their feet after this much needed off week?

Oh and I AM DALTON BOLE'S UNCLE. He's been running the ball since he could walk, and i've never seen anyone as good as him at the age of 15. Even though I ve seen kids in MIDDLE SCHOOL that could get near that many or that many yards against the AWESOME TEAMS WG has played. I dont see why they shouldnt win state with that record so far on their oh so tough schedule!!

Look at your schedule, that is why your defense is ranked first... your crazy if you think your defense is better than Greeneville's.

I agree this one should be a shootout... maybe over 100 points combined again...
