Hey how about you all use some of your money, and do something for the county schools like buy them some bleachers. We didn't ask for you to drop down to play us you choose to so take what you get. Nah we'll just sit in the home stands. Jealousy sucks don't it?(especially lastyear21) I know you'd like to be a waterboy for the devils but hey one of the county schools wouldn't be to bad. At least you could contribute somehow. Jealousy?? haha thats funny. I could have went to Greeneville but I CHOSE to go to South Greene. I like the school and people a lot more there. I dont get along with people that always think they are better than everyone when really they are not. I'm not jealous at all. So if your gonna call me out atleast be somewhat accurate.

What are you suppose to do tell your 3rd string not to score?? They wanna do good just like everyone else. Even if it does get ugly, it shouldnt be that bad..

Yeah thats when SG was good and Greeneville wastn that strong (2004-2006). A lot of people say SG could have beat them then. The played some of the same teams and the outcomes only lead people to believe SG could have beat Greeneville. However, Greeneville is good this year and is EXPECTED to win. PLUS, this isnt just for bragging rights, It is a key conference game. So a little more than bragging rights on the line friday.

Then dont complain. Come watch the game and do what you came for. Maybe ya'll should consider have a tryout for band for football games and narrow it down to the best.

Why wouldnt it be yall are finally playing schools your size you say....If ya cant handle the seating, dont come or dont bring the band. You dont have to have a band to play football game.

Hey man don't get mad!Maybe Greeneville needs to play WG and SG non conference schedule!Bring your lawn chair on october 2 you will need it.lol Greeneville wld never play them in a non-conference schedule... The reason beeing wld be there is no point...Thats why the devils have 2 losses...they are playing teams that are tough unlike the buffs and rebels...if you wanna win conference games you have to schedule tough non conference ones... Hey Greeneville1# . Keep putting your foot in your mouth . You are good at it! The down side of your posts is that it reflects on the team ,school but most of all the KIDS!!! Well Mrs. Barbara C., They beat us, but not too bad... Plus, SG's team is alot better than we were that year so I got faith in my Rebels. Not saying they will win, but Im saying they CAN win!

We played Daniel Boone for several years and the last two years we went to the Border Bash in NC and played Tuscola (former 3A NC state champs and 12 time conf. champs went to the 3rd round play-offs last year 11-2) and Pisgah 2A (went to the 3rd round play-offs last year 9-4). So yes we have met up with some very good teams. Shoot yeah, I agree. I played Tuscola my senior year and they were just as fast, strong, and big as Greeneville, if not faster, stronger, and bigger. It is a whole different thing in playoffs in NC. They were good. And if SG comes to play friday anything could happen.

We waterboys or we benchwarmers? Be more specific. Surely you're not that big of a douche are you? Really. We as the twelfth man, specific enough. With the upper teams we've played, all of which being ranked in the state and only giving up 45 pts, you need to be worried about Friday night. I'm sure our d will get tired again, because they'll be on the field most of the night again, just a different reason this Friday. We'll pretty much score at will. About us beating up on little ole' county schools, just shows we have superior athletes, coaches, work ethics, FACILITIES and fans. Barb, I forgot to mention since you didn't make it Friday, Mr. Hall is now #12 and probably going to get some touches on offense. Ok your so much better because you have more students, more money, and nicer stuff? Sounds like a very arrogant person. SG has the same caliber of athletes, just not as many due to a significantly smaller enrollment. Also, Im sure SG would take a large donation from Niswonger to build better facilities. Point is you think your better just because you go the "GREAT" GHS. I mean you are good and are suppose to win. Why do you need to talk like ya'll are God's gift to Greene County. Lastly, I hope the players have these great attitudes that you all do. It might just bite them in the behind. Plus, the better team dont always win, sometimes the one who wants it more does. After everyone saying how bad GHS will beat SG im sure theyre not jus gonna lay down.

The point is Susong won't have time to throw those passes! We know you can't run the ball, so maybe pack an extra jersey for susong, and some ice. Barb, as for terrell they checked him out Saturday morning and said it was severely sprained. I think he's supposed to get it checked out today. Kinda scary to think that him and Hall are only sophomore's. Greeneville by 21+ SG cant run? They have 2 or 3 pretty good backs, and they havent had to run. Jalen Shuffler can run with the best of them. He may not be a power back like chaz or bj, but he is faster and more shifty. Have you even seen SG play? Dont sound like it to me.

Lastyear21 Didnt we hear lastweek that Grainger was a weak team and it shld be an easy win for WG??? haha Maybe its the other way around. lol Grainger is not as good as WG, they wanted that game more. WG played very poorly. I don't even like WG. I just follow football. Yeah i was wrong. Honestly, you do not really know much about football. This will be a good game, but i think the buffs big slow and hard to move D line will be the difference. If SG had a D line, they woulda killed CG. SO im gonna say the buffs win this one. WG 28 CG 21

I'll start by saying Greeneville is suppose to win this game. I do not want them to at all, but they are suppose to. Aside from that, it would make a SG win even sweeter. As a matter of fact, I heard from a from a former greene devil that if Gville plays the same football they did last friday, SG may take this on. Everyone knows SG has no D it is apparent. However, they do have an O just as good as anyone in the conference. The key in this game will be for the Rebels to score every time the Devils do, and if they do and its close in the 4th Gville may panic and lose it. And for all of you who are saying how bad Gville is going to kill them, I promise SG wants it just as bad or even more. It is high school football, so dont be so full of your self. So GO REBS prove all the haters wrong!!! Btw, can Church touch rim on a basketball goal? He will be in for a long night if he cant.... because some of Susongs passes are caught 10 ft+ in the air...

You're wrong. High ankle sprain. But Hall and Church are back. It'll be a battle Friday night. I don't think Story being out on D will hurt the Devils too much. They have some good talent coming off the bench to fill his position. I'm not sure what to expect in the RB position though.... other than having B.J. and maybe Shuffler ..... My understanding is that Anderson was dismissed from the team last week and then Chaz was injured in practice.... That could make a difference in the turnout, but I believe the Devils will still come out on top in this one. I believe Greeneville has a more balanced team. Even without Chaz and Trey, BJ and Shuffler will run hard, Bj is strong and shuff is fast. SO turnovers may just decide the outcome in this one!

I see WG winning this one fairly easy. Once again they are playing a weak team. So throw some "boles express" at them. 30+ carries for Boles leading to him getting alot of yards. Same ole story different game I'd say.

I figured barb, but I just wanted to make sure. I don't see boles doing too much against any of the top runners in the conference, and yes, SG isn't a top runner right now. I see them turning it on. They should get 2nd or 3rd depending on the outcome of other games.

I was happy playing ball at SG, but thats just me. Its not really the kids and parents choice, who wants to pay to go to a public school? And yeah Im a has been, too. Also, there is worse schools than the county schools.

Ya know I get so tired of you Greeneville people going on every thread and sayin how your gonna beat everybody. It's really quite pointless. We all know your better than the Greene County Schools. You should be and are expected to be. I mean you do have more freshman on your JV than South Greene does players on there entire team. You all are not really proving anything by beating county schools besides that you got more funding, better facilities, and you are as good as you should be. Yeah WG and CD are close to the same size schools, but SG isn't. I'd be willing to bet that they will give you a better game than anyone else in the county maybe even the conference. Fact is, your probably gonna win the conference without a loss, your gonna beat every county team unless something goes terribly wrong, and you should do good in playoffs. So enjoy it while you can because in years to come your either gonna sink to your conference level or they will rise up to yours.
