You are exactly right. It is ALL about the money. As an example: splitting boys and girls tournament play nights, so that supportors have to spend twice the money to support their school. Also, whom are they accountable too??? They have set up a system so that their officials have NO accountablity for their performance. How many working people aren't evaluated in their jobs and aren't held to any accountability to the people they serve (players, coaches and fans)??? Don't get me wrong, there are a few that are trying to do a good job, but many are on an ego trip and feel that it is their responsibility to "even up" the game, instead of objectively making the right call. I have also seen a phenomenon of ex-officials becoming assistant coaches. Enough said there.

Prediction or did he win? He has 11.7 ppg and isn't even ppg leader on his own team.

From information I have seen, Carter averaging 12 ppg and Hughes from Pickett is 17 ppg. Not sure about freshman, as haven't seen their stats. A number of good young men in district.

This was a great game (the ones State Tournaments are made of) and both teams should be commended. This region has a wonderful basketball tradition. My heart is with PC and I do wish them all of the best. Issue I had in this set of regional games was the gate at Watertown. I have never attended a regional tournament in which the doorkeepers didn't bother with tickets. Something very fishy with that. The way they were just taking people's money and sending them through without giving or even tearing off any tickets leaves a lot of room for questioning!
