  1. 7aaa needs stable zones so the feeder schools have time to build and send players on to the zoned high school that know that offense/defense and have pride in the program before they ever get there. The talent is there for multiple state championships by several schools in 7aaa. The coaching is in place at several of them as well. Time and stability are the missing pieces. Everything else is there. The district needs 5-7 consecutive years without a new school being built and minimal zoning changes and then the championships will come much more regularly. The growth and politics of the county may prevent it. If that is the case, 7aaa as a general rule will not have more than 1-2 championships per decade, if that many.
  2. 3 things; 1. Obama is an expert at excuses. 2. It is sad that this is the best insult you could come up with. 3. Holiday drinking has started early for you.
  3. I was thinking about trying out for head water boy, so I have been doing a lot of research into them before making a go at it. I'm not sure I want to get tied to a program where the "fans" cannot see the effects of rezoning and lack of recruiting and want to blame a winning coach on everything from losses to the website but don't give any credit (even though I'm sure he could care less if anyone did) to winning seasons and impressive wins at the end of a tough season.
  4. I certainly don't have to, but I will so I can see what off base comment or insult comes next.
  5. Thanks for proving me right. I have a feeling you will say its a emoticon, not a word, or some other childish denial that you just proved me right.
  6. Can't handle being on the losing side of a spirited debate so you call me a bully. I have a strong suspicion you are about to show who always has to have the last word.
  7. Every head coach takes the blame. That's coaching 101, as a want to be coach, you know that. No one really cares about your career but I have a feeling that Blockbuster manager training program you went through last year might come in handy someday.
  8. you have been a one song, annoyed pig for about 8 years. Glad you finally shut up.
  9. Your opinion is that everything wrong at Riverdale is because of one person. My opinion is that it is multiple factors and you guys are a bunch of blind, narrow minded, want to be coaches that don't have a clue. So there you go. We all agree to disagree and we all have our own opinions, mine just happens to be right.
  10. I believe I understand much better than you, you just don't want to hear it. So you have to say silly things like "you just don't understand." Here's a little quote for you - 'If you can't explain it to a six year old, you don't understand it yourself.' Albert Einstein
  11. So you stand up for the right for a guy to insult and berate a coach, but insult me for my right to defend a coach? You are very conflicted.
  12. I'm a spokesman for myself and myself only. And in speaking for myself, I say that half the misinformed complainers on here are a bunch of whining cowards that don't have the backbone to walk one day in the shoes of a head football coach. There seems to be a whole slew that slither around and berate and make negative comments and generally make fools of themselves while showing their lacking character.
  13. So you have appointed yourself the spokesperson for all the players on the Riverdale team and the spokesman for coacht and who all the posters are on here. I bow to your higher authority...well, nah.
  14. Am I not communicating directly with you right now? And I could certainly be complaining about you while communicating with you, as I have done with other people on here. Are you a little slow or something?
  15. I complain about them, directly to them. Big difference than whining about a coach on a message board that the players read, but the coach does not. Surely you can see the difference.
  16. I'm old. Refresh my memory and show me how and where.
  17. The grownups have decided, based on all the info inside and outside of the program, knowing the politics and zoning changes, talent levels in the halls and on the fields, and going to every game and many practices that Aydelott is the coach. Cry babies that don't have the benefit of that much information don't like it so they resort to being mealy mouthed wash women on a website. End of story.
  18. I'm old. Refresh my memory and show me how and where.
  19. I actually don't care all that much if he coaches there or not. What bothers me is a bunch of whiners and complainers griping like a bunch of old women when they wont face the reality of the effects of growth and zoning changes. The badmouthing of a coach on an easily accessible website that kids can read is damaging to a program and smacks of cowardice and generally unmanly behavior. Let the grownups who actually make coaching decisions hear the complaints and let them do what they need to do. Keep it away from the kids.
  20. So you want someone to apologize for something that has not been said? Getting a little desperate and frustrated, aren't you... notice there is no question mark. It's a statement, not a question.
  21. No one likes where any program is after a losing season. Fair weather fans are the worst. Rankin had a losing season at Riverdale too. 4-6 as a matter of fact. A lot of good things came after that. Sure, it was his first season and all that, but none the less. Both Rankin and Aydelott have one losing season at Riverdale. And if you think the talent level at Riverdale, both in the hall and on the field is the same as it was in 93-04, you are crazy and out of touch.
  22. ex as he is in high school and walking the halls, or ex as he played years ago? Either way, it sounds like you have an ax to grind. Credibility shot. Not every kid is cut out for football.
  23. You still don't get it. Not all kids are cut out to be football players. Hard nosed coaches weed those out and they walk the halls and whine about how much they don't like the coach. If the stayed on the team, they would whine about their playing time, play calling, where the team eats, the team website, and the color of the uniforms. The program is better off without them. And you didn't answer my question; what is your connection to the program? You speak of witnessing...what is your connection? I feel a non answer or dodge coming...
  24. Your sensitivity for what appears to be your party is causing you to make foolish assumptions. I never said I was a republican or a democrat. Never let intelligence get in the way of your party bs. And I never shop at walmart.
