I'll give credit where credit is due, CPA can shoot very well. And concerning the summer match up...i know that Giltner missed several team camps this summer because he was at AAU tournaments and individual showcases. Not to say that he would have score 30 to even the game but his presence on the court is a HUGE factor for Harpeth's team. CPA is a very talented team. I'm excited to see these two great teams battle it out.

Tyler is playing tonight, however Husdon is doubtful. This game should be a great prep for CPA's athletic ability.

Harpeth-65 Cascade-21 Giltner-18 Caruthers-14 (4 dunks) Horkins-8 McMullen-8(Freshman) Overall not a bad start. some poor defense at times. cascade wasn't very good at all. Bigger test Friday vs. Kenwood. Biggest test next Tuesday vs. CPA.

giltner is a big guard in the school ball. He has gotten much stronger over the offseason...i would expect to see him play the post in certain situations...this would allow Coach Wilson to have more playmakers on the court at one time.

does sycamore have any scrimmages or play days up coming? If so, when and where?

congrats to giltner. He is very deserving of his scholarship. From what I'm reading, this years district title could be Sycamore's to lose. Harpeth should be able to handle most of the teams in the district with their guards. However, Harpeth's season will depend mostly on the consistency of the post play.
