When do they release the BEST IN PREPS pick ? D

Now that our age group can play Div I, who all is jumping in, and therefore, doing the mandatory state league, now that the OPEN tournament is no longer.. My daughter's team, Premier Soccer Academy '95 (Chattanooga) is doing Division I, and I believe Redoubt Generals '95(Chattanooga) is also.... David

Now it's open.....Let the season begin.....

Will any of the girls play on any indoor teams this winter ? As unofficial 'school' teams, or as club teams ? (I know a lot of coaches disapprove of indoor playing....but I was just curious...) If so, what are some of the better arenas in the state....We have played at Camp Jordan arena (Chattanooga) the majority of the time, but have played at the Crockett Field Arena in Brentwood, and it is quite a nice facility ! "D" (is that better Don?)

DONC.... Hopefully I will be able 'pick you brain' for conversation/thread starters, and you can use my name as an alias if need be....Let's hope my daughter can add to the Irish powerhouse the next four years in some capacity when she arrives next year...so I can stay active on these boards, beyond simple sarcasm/tidbits... St Jude School finds ourselves in the Independent School Conference, here in Chattanooga, which starts their season in LATE fall, which takes us out of playing historically strong teams like GPS and Baylor unfortunately (they start play in early fall)... Was hoping to hear from any Southeastern Tennnessee teams, before it gets too late in the season... David

FLASH- I cannot tell you how many comments there were regarding the throw-in ability of your team, (can't remember her number, maybe #2 ?)...It was very impressive to see a throw in make it almost into the 6 yard box, for the goals that were scored....a very strong offensive weapon, for sure....I heard the comment that Notre Dame was almost better off giving up a corner kick, than allow her to throw in... One of the best second halves I have ever seen in high schoool soccer....Really was an exciting game...Notre Dame's intensity after half time was great ! Great job to the seniors in their last game...it was a great one.... David

Just wanted to get a little talk going regarding middle school ball, if anyone is interested... FYI- If anyone has a middle school team wanting a 'friendly' in Chattanooga, please get in touch with me...The St. Jude Girl's team is having a powerful season, and is having trouble picking up some good, competitive matches in our league.... They are currently 3-0, with a goal differential of 19 for and only 1 against... Good thing is, 12 of the girls are headed to Notre Dame next year !!! GO IRISH ! I friend of mine with CCS said she didn't like the field condition there (in the past), and that the two team's fans had some 'issue' in the past meeting...any thoughts on this years game...???

DonC..That would require a lot of effort on my part..(HAHAHA)...What I was looking for was forum discussions about the game, and not just what the paper wrote (although, it was a good writeup).. It seemed to be a little more physical of a game than I would have anticipated....since both teams move on anyway... David

Am I missing any discussion regarding the game last night ? Great game, strong CCS defense which was to be expected... David

I certainly expected a larger margin of victory for Baylor...How wet was the field ? Did that influence the game and help equalize it more ?
