bitter much? regular season means nothing when playoffs come around. franklin is still in it, brentwood is not. end of story.

Franklin looked great against Overton, while Hunters Lane beat a very tough Brentwood team in the final seconds. It should be a great game, but im predicting a Franklin win 28-24 since FHS is finally figuring out that they can score more points on the ground.

In regards to the coaching and athletic directors situation, I don't have enough valid information to really make a decision. As for the spirit (or lack thereof) at franklin, I can comment first hand. Franklin has failed to even half way fill their student section for three weeks now and only managed to bring roughly 20 students to the Dickson County game (c'mon guys, its not that far away). Instead of cheering for the team, most students resort to socializing in the stands, completely unaware that a game is even going on in front of them. After the first half, the stands clear considerably, and people become uninterested. At school on friday, no banners are seen and the only school colors worn are those of the football players themselves. While school spirit may not have a lot to do with the actual team, I believe a strong student section can go a long way in pumping the team up for a game. A strong tradition of devout franklin fans is becoming less apparent every week. I have no idea who is to blame, but something needs to change so we can make franklin football and its strong spirit what it used to be. Let's have a strong showing at Centennial this week and cheer the team to the playoffs!
