The total stats say the game was one-sided.

And, the screen pass everyone is talking about, Grace had one blocker for two defenders, and it was on 3rd down. It still would've been 4th and goal had he caught it. and Grace still probably would've failed on that try.

Concentrating on one play takes away from the whole game. Both teams have a reason to be proud.

TC 412 yards...GCA 250...they lucky to have kept it close in my opinion...there were several times TC had chances to go up by multiple scores...we made mistakes that costed us a few drives

I want to Congratulate TC, SP, Adamsville, Union City...for eliminating all the privates this season in Single A football...and keeping the Gold Balls away from them fellers...Yee Haww...

TC ain't gonna be surprised. They've played Gallatin, Goodpasture, Grace, Marion, & FC just to name a few. Adamsville has played an over-rated TCA team who is very one dimensional with 0 defense. No doubt Neary is a good player but Trousdale players have seen Great RB's their entire careers. For starters they scrimmaged CPA, then faced Beech each if the past 2 preseason jamborees. Not to mention they've faced the past 3 State champs in 2A as well as last yrs 1A state champs with a Great RB. You may want to get out of that glass house you live in Jackson, cross the TN river and come watch middle tn football. Most round here would tell you it's tougher to win the old Region 4 with TC, gordonsville, & FC than the state title!

My analysis of the game. Obviously Harper is a man! However it's the o/line that won this game for the jackets. I saw some of the best second level blocking it have ever seen in highschool. This game was so close it's crazy one or two dropped passes and it's overtime!

If TC don't fumble the ball up 14-7...TC wins by 2 scores..at least

U justified my point and you didn't realize it. Lol. Trousdale played a flawless perfect game like you said and won by one point. Gallatin played horrible. They brought thier D- game trousdale brought thier A+ game. Read carefully remember I'm pulling for TC. But yes fluke is what it was. I thought it awesome to see how TC defended thier home field and tradition. I have guys at work(in Gallatin) crap about it the whole week after. They just beat a 6A football team(Hendersonville) which is in the 6A semis. And then went to hartsville half asleep and got stung in the rear by the jackets and woke up to reality and went on to the 5A quarterfinals. So yes it was a fluke. But a lot of it due to the heart and fire of those trousdale boys.

If i remember correctly...TC missed a FG...and turned it over in the redzone once?...I think TC could have beaten Gallatin worse if TC had played a PERFECT game...

Next year at Gallatin ought to be real fun....

GCA's 1st team defense has allowed only 6 rushing and 12 total TD's this year. I agree Gallatin has a big line, the only difference is GCA's line is big and quick. I have not seen any film where TC throws the ball, that is why I give GCA a 22 point advantage.  GCA is too balanced on offense to be stopped. 44 rushing TD's & 32 Passing TD's. GCA 42 -TC 20.

As cute as unbalanced line run to the weak side might be and as creative as that fake punt was that you wasted in a game you still would have won, you'll need need more than that Friday. Grace won't be lulled to sleep and be surprised when you drift a receiver to the center of the field when nobody is watching and throw one of the three times a game you throw.

 

The tape doesn't lie. No Benny Cunningham, no Keenan Reynolds, no Patrick Turner but a team whose best player is going to play baseball for Trevecca scored again, 19 on you. You have to own that. Seriously, you think Grace has LESS firepower than GP. You've seen the tape right? Wing T 2.0? You think Grace's skilled players might be a little better than GP's? Just a little?

 

I appreciate your tradition. I really do. But who has more tradition, Vandy or UT? Still didn't matter. As much as it kills me to say it, Vandy is better right now than UT.

 

Based on tape, Grace isn't just better, they're much better. This line standing up and the calves are gonna slip through like they're slipping through a head catcher is wishful thinking.
