It just goes to prove that anyone can be beat on any given day

To many mental mistakes in the first game for York against DC. The kid playing 3rd base was somewhere else and couldn't make a play and the mistakes worked the pitcher and DC had some very live bats the 1st game. Congrats to DC they played great and deserved the wins. Hopefully York will do better in the games to come. They have Clinton Ky Crossville and LA coming up.

Good job to everyone that played in the tourney there was some goo games. Rumor is York is getting a new coach next year. So if it is true maybe they will be able to compete. I watched the game where the kid pitched 150+ it was uncalled for. There was also a Junior that pitched 2 district games in 4 days and threw 100+ in both of those.

The parents taht care have voiced their opinions to the athletic director. I know at least 4 are thinking about leaving 2 of them are 2 of the top 3 pitchers that they have. They may need to express their concers to the state since the people that run the school don't show any interest in the program.

LA played a good game against York. York's whole season was a bust no practice time show know improvment. Good luck to everyone in district. I hope someont from 8AA wins it all

My money would be on DC.

York has won maybe 2 or 3 district games since in 2 years. The one game they won this year was behind the Stephens kid and they won it 2 to 0 without errors. They played Upperman last night and done good for 3 and 2/3rd innings then the shortstop let a routine fly ball roll out of his glove and Upperman scored 6 unearned runs after that. Their practice time is not spent wisely they don't work on fundamentals and there isn't any motovation coming from the coach.

York has been in several games this year that they could have won. But when your pitcher gives up 2 runs and the defense gives 4 runs and you lose 6 to 5 its hard to win and frustrating to a pitcher. That would be a clue to change defense. All of the teams in 8AA have some good pitchers and have lost games due to errors.

York finally got its first district win. A 2-0 win over Cannon. Then turned around and lost the second game 9-0. Errors hurt them alot.

If York had better defense it might have been different

York only has 1 player returning with any game experience and they sure don't have the quality of shooting guard they had last year with Stephens. So York is going to be pretty weak.

With Stephens Asberry and Williams gone York will have very little to offer for offense other than Gavin Cook. York will finish at the bottom. 1. Livingston 2. Cannon 3. Upperman. 4. Smith 5. Dekalb 6. York. I think CAnnon will make a good showing for themselves this year but. LA still has to many weapons.

York will finish at the bottom. they have really gone down hill since this current guy took over last year. Most of the team doesn't act like they care.

Tyner won't go far unless they can take their gym with them. Hotest gym I have ever been in. Them York boys weren't used to playing in that much heat. They were drained after the first period. Besides Stone beat them twice and they never made it past the region.

Both team had a good year so hold your heads high. Be proud of what you did this year. Both teams have some really good players on them. TJ Smith and Cody Stephens I just want to say that you are the two best shooters I have ever had the enjoyment of watching. I wish you all the best of luck. 8AA will miss you both next season.
