I think that Jackson and Friendship will be the top teams this year. Clay lost alot of good players but they usually compete every year. I don't see Gordonsville being much of a threat this year, even when they have good teams they usually choke in the first round of the region tourney. Plus Gordonsville won't have near the team they have had in the past. 7a should dominate this year, excluding FCS... But does anyone know how the HOF game went between JC and Gordonsville?

I would have to agree with WeGoCommando on this one. From being around basketball alot it was easy to see that the seniors from last year's team weren't individuals and worked well together. It was sad to see that they got a new coaching staff that wanted to change everything. I remember watching some games last year and there is no way that josh sapp is the best point guard in the district this year. He just plays for stats and attention. That should be clear from him being on coacht posting about himself lol. Good luck to the tigers though, hopefully they'll win a few district games.

I just want to congratulate the girls from Gordonsville on a great season!! They were fun to watch and were a special group of seniors!! My prayers are with Courtney and her family, she showed alot of toughness being out there 2nite and playing hard like always!! It is always sad when the season ends but they have nothing to hang their heads about!

I am pretty sure they are still out because I didnt see them in the district tournament... Also one of Westmoreland's better players either quit or was throwed off the team or something close to the district tourney i heard..Not sure about the whole situation but just saying what i've been told... But who is Jackson County's main players?? We all know about Leonard she is the real deal but who else do they have?

Westmoreland can play pretty good defense but they dont have the offense fire-power to beat the devils imo... However i could be wrong, i have been before (more than once lol) Good luck to both teams!

Clarkrange will definately win by as much as they want i think everyone knows that... Jackson will win easily as well... If Gordonsville comes out and plays like they did the second half against FCS then Clay better watch out. I think Gordonsville will win but it will be close... I'll pick Pickett to win against FCS... If Gordonsville does win, do they have a chance against Clarkrange?

As for the Friendship vs Monterey game, FCS will have no trouble at all... I think that the rest of the games will be pretty close...I think that the Clay vs Gordonsville game will be closer than most people think but i'm not sure who will win that one... I'm picking Westmoreland to beat Clarkrange... I really think Jackson can beat Trousdale but ill pick Trousdale since its on their home floor... The championship game tues. night is hard to predict seeing as how they split in the regular season. Gordonsville lives and dies by the 3 so it will depend on how they are shooting but i'm going to go ahead and pick Gordonsville in a close one! I believe that both of these teams can beat the 3 & 4 seeds from 7a (Gordonsville beat Clay once this yr) especially since the games will be on their home courts... Clarkrange will probably make it to the finals but I would love to see an 8a team playing in the region championship! Good luck 8a!

Well Friendship did win but it wasnt a "spanking" by any means... The tigers hung with them and fought hard... the refs made alot of questionable calls that i didnt understand but not much can be done about that lol I think friendship will win the championship and i think gordonsville will win 3rd place if they play hard like they did 2nite however Westmoreland will be ready to play too so it'll be a hard fought game...I'm sure nobody wants to travel to clay(which will probably win their district tourny) first round of region... I do think that 8a has more talented teams than 7a this yr but i guess we'll have to wait until regions to find out

Congrats to them for what they have done this year...that being said, i do not think they'll be able to win a game come region tournament..but who knows, i've been wrong before lol

Clay will be the champs... 2nd goes to Clarkrange, 3rd to Jackson, and 4th to Red Boiling
