That was an amazing play. I know it’s a regular season award, but last night was a Mr. Football performance if I’ve ever seen one. Baker was incredible, but Marshall’s stat line is insane as well:

    13/19 passing, 217 yards and 3 TDs

    28 carries, 145 yards and 3 TDs

    Two successful 2-point conversions

Nearly 1000 yards of offense between these two teams last night.

EDIT: I did not realize Baker was also a senior until just now looking at his hudl profile. Could’ve sworn I heard during our first matchup that he was still a junior. Heck of a season/career for that young man.

So what were the stats on the QB from Hendersonville (Baker)? That kid was a stud....he ran around & thru us all night....we had no clue how to stop him! Proud of the Big Red never giving up! Now to get ready for Southwind....one game at a time.   GO BIG RED !!!!!!!

You know, there are definitely some good HC posters. Your one of them. While the fanbase is taken as a joke. It’s team is not. HC has a deep tradition. I mean heck one thing I’ve never seen HC posters talk about is the amount of alumni who coach across the state (HC at riverdale and centennial, DC at green hill) or people who’ve passed through the program and once coached at HC (Creasy at Oakland) and I’m sure there’s plenty more in both categories that I have no idea of. HC has a lot to beat it’s chest about and has a huge impact across the state. So don’t take anything I said as derogatory about your program.

Best post I have seen in quite some time….speaks volumes about our program….thanks Facts & GO BIG RED!!!

Lots of pros to grass and turf. Either is fine. But honestly turf sure does look good.

turf-project-e1617924758499.jpgHenry County plans to have their turf down for graduation.....we shall see.

It is 40 extra minutes one way for those in West Tennessee. Is it really that big of deal? I swear rural West Tennessee fans are the biggest snowflakes in the entire state. Constantly complaining. I don’t care where my team is playing in the championship as long as they are in the game who cares. This will be a better experience for everyone involved.

Coming from this Henry County West TN fan, I could care less where this game is played......the Big Red Nation will be there in full force.....ROLL RED ROLL !!!

In having the opportunity to play both the last two years in Cookevile, here was my take. (which may not amount to a hill of beans). Henry Co. played a much more physical brand of ball while Summit came with more athleticism. That being said, I know Henry Co. has improved their team speed at various positions and Summit's leaders are a year older (and it has shown). I think Summit has trouble stopping Henry Co.'s backfield. Henry Co. by 10.

Good luck to both and I'll see you in Cookeville next week.

This game will come down to two things, just like all playoff games.....who can make the fewest mistakes & make the biggest plays. I have one question.....what does the Yanker think about this game? He knows all...GO BIG RED!!!
