In my many years watching high school football, I have never seen a team take the football for an entire quarter & then 2 minutes into the next......that is what you call ball control & complete domination! Way to go Big Red!!!

Very disappointed in our crowd tonight. When the weather is warm, the place is packed. Bring the cold playoff weather & they don’t show up. What’s up with that? Although our crowd was as loud as I’ve heard it all season tonight! Hats off to the Springfield players….great game guys! Go Big Red!!!

It’s game day in Henry County…..GO BIG RED!

Online $8
At the gate $10
This is what I heard. Can someone verify?
When you buy on line you wind up saving .60 after they tack on the 1.40 service charge!

What is our region going to look like next year? Springfield, Portland, Beech, Hendersonville, & HC?
-
Can someone please put our schedule on this thread?

You know, there are definitely some good HC posters. Your one of them. While the fanbase is taken as a joke. It’s team is not. HC has a deep tradition. I mean heck one thing I’ve never seen HC posters talk about is the amount of alumni who coach across the state (HC at riverdale and centennial, DC at green hill) or people who’ve passed through the program and once coached at HC (Creasy at Oakland) and I’m sure there’s plenty more in both categories that I have no idea of. HC has a lot to beat it’s chest about and has a huge impact across the state. So don’t take anything I said as derogatory about your program.
Best post I have seen in quite some time….speaks volumes about our program….thanks Facts & GO BIG RED!!!

Thanks to Social Dweebs for streaming the game. It was awesome to watch & look forward to what I hope are many years of playing Springfield. This could turn into a great rivalry if we stay in the same region.

I miss the Yanker………

How many yards rushing did the Wade QB get? We just had no answer for stopping him. Oh well, on to Beech.

Has the Yanker also retired? Roll Red Roll!

It is 40 extra minutes one way for those in West Tennessee. Is it really that big of deal? I swear rural West Tennessee fans are the biggest snowflakes in the entire state. Constantly complaining. I don’t care where my team is playing in the championship as long as they are in the game who cares. This will be a better experience for everyone involved.
Coming from this Henry County West TN fan, I could care less where this game is played......the Big Red Nation will be there in full force.....ROLL RED ROLL !!!

In having the opportunity to play both the last two years in Cookevile, here was my take. (which may not amount to a hill of beans). Henry Co. played a much more physical brand of ball while Summit came with more athleticism. That being said, I know Henry Co. has improved their team speed at various positions and Summit's leaders are a year older (and it has shown). I think Summit has trouble stopping Henry Co.'s backfield. Henry Co. by 10.
Good luck to both and I'll see you in Cookeville next week.
This game will come down to two things, just like all playoff games.....who can make the fewest mistakes & make the biggest plays. I have one question.....what does the Yanker think about this game? He knows all...GO BIG RED!!!

@HCFan somebody posted this on another thread about the possible region 7-5A next year.
Region 7 - Clarksville NE, Clarksville NW, Henry Co, Kenwood, Springfield, Dyer Co
So we are looking at 5 non region games to pick up.....not an easy task!

What will our region look like next year? I understand TSSAA has reclassified the divisions & we will lose some & add some.

Yanker must be in hibernation.....

Dickson County still cares about football. What hurt them is building the 2nd high school in the county. The same would happen in Henry County if they built another school.

Just wondering if anybody had bought a season pass yet and what the school told them about a refund if the season was cancelled due to the Covid-19.
I asked & was told to hold on to my receipt in case anything was cancelled.

Congrats to HC on a great & exciting season. Hats off & a big congrats to DC. You guys never quit & you earned it. Now go to Summit ,kick butt & then go to Cookeville & bring that gold ball back to West Tn!

So what were the stats on the QB from Hendersonville (Baker)? That kid was a stud....he ran around & thru us all night....we had no clue how to stop him! Proud of the Big Red never giving up! Now to get ready for Southwind....one game at a time. GO BIG RED !!!!!!!
