Many here believe it is a fore gone conclusion that JH will set a state record against Henry County next year. I do for sure.
Will not happen. We will be ready this year. Not saying he will not get his share, just not 400+ !

I read where the TSSAA is considering reclassification again and possibly back to 5 classes. If that happens, will we (Henry County) go back to the West TN district?

OK Patriot fans....the Jackson Generals Baseball Club is hosting a Henry County Night to honor the 2011 5A State Champion Henry County Patriots football team on Thursday night, May 31st at Pringles Park in Jackson, TN! It is also $1 night! All tickets a $1...all hotdogs...$1...and "beverages" are $1! Let's fill Pringles Park full on May 31st!!

Yes, he played at TSU. He played QB for a year or two then moved to WR. He did well at both positions.

Congrats to the Big Red. Great game tonite. I have one question for the Powell fans. How did Dooley let Mobley go to UK? That kid is a beast!!!

OK, I'll play the game on Mobley's numbers.
Let's just for discussion sake completely discount what he did in the regular season, which we all know isn't really applicable, but I'll play along.
Let's just look at his playoff numbers:
4 games
94 carries
1003 rushing yards
10.7 yards per carry
15 Touchdowns
The point - even if you claim he put up his numbers against a weak district, those playoff numbers are still pretty strong.
HTV, those are very impressive numbers. I am looking forward to seeing this kid play. I still think our defense is up for the challange. GO BIG RED !!!! ROLL RED ROLL !!!

From what I understand, Toledo was the first 1A to offer him. Memphis, UK, Cincinatti, Vandy and Mississippi ST had all shown a good deal of interest, and I believe have all come to see him play or practice at some point during the season.
I believe that UK and Toledo are still the only D1 offers though.
Why did UT not go after him? It is obvious we need help on the hill !!!
