  1. 1.CCS 2.Howard 3.Hixson 4.Marion 5.Sequatchie 6.Grundy 7.East ridge 8.Notre Dame 9.Bledsoe This is how I see it panning out this season. CCS- Have a group of stars coming back that should put them over the top of the rest of the competition. I think William Moore will come back proving to everyone that he hasn't lost a step of his game and I can see him averaging around 22-25 ppg game. Cook is one of the poing guard that the city has to offer and with Moore and Hill out on the court this will give him plenty of oppurtunity to get to the hoop anytime he wants since he is a big guard who can take his man to the post. Hill is very very underrated for this team, he may be the best player on the team with his defensive presence along side his deep ball shot which he can knock down at will. Howard- You can never count Howard out of any fight, but I don't see them taking over the district this year especially when no one knows of who they will be putting out on the court this season. Losing Ricks, Taylor and all those guys will take a toll on this team this year. Hixson- They upset Howard last year at Howard's place and they only lost one or two players of that team so I can see them pushing for a one or two spot by the end of the season just by them coming off of momentum. I'm not sure if that number 32 guy is eligible to play this season, but I'm sure we will all see soon. Marion- With Big Cody in the middle anything is possible with this team. I think that if they worked harder together as a unit than they will be better than what people will count them as. Henegar has the potential to put up 20 points a game along side 15 rebounds if his team will feed him the ball a little more. With Guyear coming back it gives the team an overall scorer who can do a little bit of everything for the team. The rest of the teams are a toss up just because they have lost so many players or they just don't have the player to compete at the top level in the district.
  2. Who are the top 5 teams in the Chattanooga area this season??
  3. Chattanooga Christian is hands down the best team in the district this year. They have their best player William Moore coming back from a serious knee injury along side Stephen Cook who was best of prep and and a solid player in Mario Hill too.
  4. Who will be the top 3 teams in Chatt next season? And Why?
  5. that last comment was a little harsh i should say. We should be on here trying to mention the top players in the area, but we are sitting here talking about everything but. We should be on here trying to encourage people and brag about what schools, and players wer cheer for, but i don't think we should be on here trying to keep up with peoples drop out records, or how many times a kid has been put in jail. Lets just get back to having fun and trying to figure out the elite players in this area.
  6. When I say that Cook is by far the best point guard. I mean by far. He runs his team to perfection each and every night I have seen them play this year. He is very unselfish with the ball and knows when to make the right passes. Jeremy Sexton and Brandon Herman are great player but are consider shooting guards in todays game. I was at the Hixson vs. Chatt Christian game early in the season and Cook took control of the game in the 4th quater when his team really needed him. He also has a good teammate Mario Hill who everyone should be looking out for.
  7. Since i'm more of a district 6 AA fan this year i'm gonna have to say. Stephen Cook (Chattanooga Christian)- can score with the best of them and dish the ball of really well. Can play great defense. And he is well coached. By far the best point guard the city has to offer. Darius Ricks- (Howard)- great player. Makes the big plays when called on. Great mid range jumper. Would like to see him get more aggresive on the offensive end because no one in his district can stop him Domique Taylor (Howard)- Great potential to be the best in the city. College coaches should be pouring in calls. he is very long and with his 6'6'' frame he can handle the ball really well and can shoot the ball too. I love this list right here.
  8. Does anyone have any thoughts on this team? I have been a little harsh on them since they had a horrible season last year, but this year it seems that have change their look.
  9. i'm hearing that Moore has been out with a torn ACL all season and Cook has been out with a quad or groin injury that will take sometime to heal, with these guys out of the lineup for CCS i don't see them winning any games for a while. Moore was the leading scorer for them last year. Cook has been in the top 5 in just about every category in the times free press this season. I don't know of any other players for CCS which may be a cause of concern.
  10. Whats up with William Moore and Stephen Cook being out for Chattanooga Christian? Does anyone have the scoop on this?
  11. who would make the cut for the first, second and third team. Choose players by their position. Point Guard Shooting Guard Small Foward Power Foward Big Man
  12. who would make Chattanooga's first team all seniors?
