Not far this year but, I think next year will be a good year for them. Keep in mind that the twin's will only be Jr's next year and they are only going to get better! I am going to go ahead and predict that WHH will defeat CA in double OT. 61-60 this Friday handing them their first district loss. How about that? Well WP, I hope you are feeling better. Congrat's to you and your husband on raising a very polite well mannered young man. Not an easy feat in today's climate. Current standings are pretty close to what I thought they would be. I thought that ER would have a better record than they do. Pretty impressed w/ NC, considering they returned no starters (+) and they have had close games. They will be a force to be reckoned with come next year! JB, Ka-Boom!!!!. CA needs to be careful, fall asleep and your one and done. (Are the twins soph or jr's?) Anyway, anything but a division win for CA would be a major, major dissapointment. So all of the pressure is on them to take division if not regions. How are you feeling about your chances???

My kid out scored all of yours including the twins when we played you. And only lost by a point, which from what I understand if he would of made one of his last three, free throws, we could of tied or won outright. He has a higher average also. haha! Ohh, to bad. One of the games I was actually at. I have been really sick the past 4 months and have missed most of the season. I am not hard to find though, Big, Ugly and sittin on the 50 yard line. Usually far away from my better half. She can be a bit of an assault of the senses. Bought time you have some kids so we have someone to watch! I don't know, but we only lost by one also. I know how that happened. A certain someone that is usually clutch in buzzer beaters and from the charity line missed all 3 of his last 3 free throws. 1, would of tied, 2 and 3 could of won. I do have to give him some credit though, he did hit a tre' to tie it up close to the end. I am just getting over a pretty serious illness (housebound for 4 months) so I had to rely on this forum or my wife reporting back to me, I usually watch the tape but a lot of that is the cieling or other end of the court staring at an empty net!. I love my wife and all, and she is our son's # 1 fan but sometime I have to remind her to yell "GO Offense" and not "C'mon Defense when we have the ball. God I love her. Hey WP! Thank you for your kind words. I miss posting too, but at my age I have to watch my Blood Pressure. Just wanted to let you know that Ross got his 1,000th point last nite. 1,008 to be exact. I think this puts us solely into 2cnd place after defeating HC by about 20 or so. The same amount that other guy said we should lose by all the time to them (opp's I did it again, bragging) Anyway, I could not keep my big mouth shut on this one. I am very, very proud of him. He put up 28, about half from the line. You keep posting though, I enjoy them. You are very articulate, sensable and I can live vicareously through you. (Hope I spelled all that right)? You go girl!

The year we did win it, we had a couple of kids on the team that were very cocky, way too cocky and I did not approve of it at all, but it was allowed. I knew it would come back to haunt us. I do have to argue one point though, if HC is better than WHH by 20 points the scorebord sure didn't show it on the 12/5 game, 38-34? we won. I was at the WHH/HC too, and neither team is my team, but this is what I saw;I dont know what their star player had, dont even know which one you are talking about. I saw ALOT of fouls that went uncalled, your boys like to push off, hold shirts, etc.... and I also saw 3 very young refs, who had to stop and ask each other what was going on, changing calls on the others sayso. HC is a better team that WH, you have a couple of shooters, thats all I saw out of them. As for being tied for first, ummm have you played CA yet? They will wipe the floor with yall. I have to agree with basketball, HC is a better team than WHH, though time will tell now that the Spurgeon boy is out. What's that strange sucking sound I hear coming out of your mouth? YA-ALL!

Whatever, I am done on here. Not because of your comment, because it does'nt make a lot of sense anyway? Team is tied for first place. I just get tired of everybody bragging on their own team and whenever I do it, I get shot down for it. Like we are a bunch of second class hilljacks! Okay, I won't lay that off on you. As far as the ref's, they take games from us all the time, that was about the whole point of my rant They are 1-A after all. But I don't think you can attribute your loss to that, good teams overcome bad ref's. I have a bit of a memory problem but wasn't that the game where your star player was held to something like 9 points(?). Oh wait, he had an off night. I also don't remember anyone fouling out? I believe we hit 4 out of our last 4 free throw and there was almost two minutes left so there was plenty of time for your boys to come back on us. We play again on the 16 in our house so you will have a great chance to avenge your loss. Hopefully! you will get some good ref's and if your star player does not have an off night, you should beat us hands down. When that happen's, I will gladly admit your dominance.
