  1. Travel ball is HUGE factor here...way too young to be throwing as much as they often do. I'm pretty sure Nolan Ryan or anyone from that era regularly threw up to 180 pitches per week...I just threw that number out there, don't really know if it's relavant...

  2. I think CH signs D1 shortly after signing day...I've seen him play 6 or 7 times over the past two years and honestly believe that if he were 6'1" he would have countless D1 offers. You can't tell me that Aaron Murray is that much taller than CH if any taller...bottom line is High can play!!! I hope the right offer unfolds for him.

  3. Looking at Alcoa's schedule/results and watching all of their games this year I realize that if you ignore the Maryville game Alcoa's D has given up one legitimate score(Webb). All other scores were mop ups or a fluke(AE). CAK has played dial a score all year long(so have their opponents). This is going to be a battle however physicality wins out, the F5 pulls away early in the 2nd half.

  4. Number #57 is not even in the same league with #33 and #3. #57 has alot of work left to do to get into that discussion. Hopefully we will se the likes of #55 and #74 on that D front to really mak it interesting.

Totally disagree...I am a big #57 fan!!! He's in the same league!!!

  5. SCrimmages mean a little more than u think, maybe not to your record, but to see where u need work on things.

Congrats to both teams, but Rivals has Prattville,Al #1 and said they will try to compete for a national title and ESPN has them #13, and said they will look to get inside the top 10.....

The scrimmages are important....but it's more for the coaches and players to get on the same page as far as packages, play calling, substitutions, etc.... To hear fans reference what happened in a scrimmage I find a little bit trivial. JMHO.
