Too bad...double edge sword. You want both teams to be at full strength but also want the kid to learn his lesson...but also keep in mind I did not see the play so for all I know he may be the victim of a bad call & "rabbit ears"...idk
Travel ball is HUGE factor here...way too young to be throwing as much as they often do. I'm pretty sure Nolan Ryan or anyone from that era regularly threw up to 180 pitches per week...I just threw that number out there, don't really know if it's relavant...
I think CH signs D1 shortly after signing day...I've seen him play 6 or 7 times over the past two years and honestly believe that if he were 6'1" he would have countless D1 offers. You can't tell me that Aaron Murray is that much taller than CH if any taller...bottom line is High can play!!! I hope the right offer unfolds for him.
Congrats Whitehaven!!! Proud as heck of my Rebels!!! I have to say I really like Rodney Saulsberry after that post game interview...the Rebels over achieved this year!!!
Looking at Alcoa's schedule/results and watching all of their games this year I realize that if you ignore the Maryville game Alcoa's D has given up one legitimate score(Webb). All other scores were mop ups or a fluke(AE). CAK has played dial a score all year long(so have their opponents). This is going to be a battle however physicality wins out, the F5 pulls away early in the 2nd half.
I really like OR with 6 @ QB & 10 @ SE/WR...think it would be a much better game had they started the game in that formation...jmho....3 yards and a cloud of dust!!!
This is a football board...basketball is in a few months. If our playoff system would allow a blind draw ET Teams would play themselves for gold balls more times than not!!!!
The scrimmages are important....but it's more for the coaches and players to get on the same page as far as packages, play calling, substitutions, etc.... To hear fans reference what happened in a scrimmage I find a little bit trivial. JMHO.
