  1. 7 Pages of complaining because the lacrosse team put removable lines on the field so that they could practice/play lacrosse Y'all boys are bored huh lol
  2. The 2022 West team was absolutely loaded with talent. Definitely had a better team than Page that year. 2023 was probably more even.
  3. Does Scott Cummings make the Lenior City game interesting? I don't see the appeal to unaffiliated fans. Id rather see a back to back state champion Knox West team on tv than Loudon vs Lenoir City.
  4. Very weak Rivalry Thursday schedule. Only 3 interesting games to the unaffiliated fans.
  5. I believe he will be right there in that area. Young has been more highly recruited in the early stages of their high school careers. He may not reach that .98 rating when all said and done, but he will be a 5 star.
  6. He's better than the Harmon kid. He will end up being the highest graded recruit EVER out of Knoxville, excluding Walter Nolan who transferred to a Knoxville school his senior year. Young will be a DB in college though. Webb did have alot of seniors this year so he will not have much help next year. Webb will be competing for 2nd place in that region. Boyd-Buchanan will be dominate.
  7. Mercy Rule every game expect the 2 private school games in the middle of the schedule.
  8. Are we talking about X, formally known as Twitter? Pressley had a mean X game.
  9. Sounds like a good hire. Coaches can really have a big impact on winning, but when the athletes aren't there, you can only go so far. Jimmies and Joes vs X's and O's. I believe it takes both to be a GREAT program, and Hardin Valley is lacking the Jimmies and Joes. Especially in that loaded region.
  10. It must be. I think what is happening is coaches are looking at this job from a glance knowing it's been a traditionally great program, but realizing after they interview that this is not the same Central Bobcats program as previous years. They don't have the athletes that they had even 4-5 years ago when they were winning back to back state championships. The kids in the school do not want to play sports. Central didn't play JV games last year because they didn't have enough kids to fill the roster. It's gonna take a special person, like Bryson Rosser, to get some kids in or even get the kids already in the school to play. You have to be willing to get out and recruit in Knoxville. Everybody knows that now and knows that it's a good chance that Central will get out recruited by the likes of Bearden, Powell, Catholic, etc. Most high school coaches don't want to recruit or else they would have went with the college coaching route. And all top of all of this, the Principal and AD are in their first years in those positions at Central, so this is their first time hiring a football coach. So whoever decides to take this job absolutely has their hands full. This hiring process is not as easy as everyone is expecting it to be.
  11. Maybe the coaches they wanted first turned down the job and now they're going down the list.
  12. Do you think this helps Boyd get over that hump and bring a gold ball back to the swamp?
  13. Hearing that Fant has found a new home in Chattanooga. Could be a huge hire for the new school.
  14. Central and AE have nothing in common. How are they the same program in different locations?
