I think you need some reading glasses because I never said Hampton was faster that SP. Again, all I am saying is your team is not as fast as people think. Hampton contained your speed pretty well we just wasn??™t able to stop you inside. And as far as your track team goes, im glad they are fast on the track because they sure didn??™t look all that fast on the football field.

You Sir should read my post before you reply to them. Read it again and tell me how many times I said Hampton is faster than SP. I'll go ahead and tell you ZERO. I simply stated that your team is not as fast as you think they are. All im saying is its not like they are so fast that you can??™t stop them.

If I was Mckenzie I would not be as worried about SP's speed as I would their physical line and running game up the middle. SP is not as fast as they like to think because if they were they would have ran down Hampton's RB down on the long td run. Our tailback had time to fumble the ball pick it up and still get into the end zone. Don't get me wrong they are a quick team but it??™s not the best thing they have going for them.

Hampton has had one of, if not the, best runs in the history of Carter County. I do not think they were as good as the Mark Byrd led teams from Cloudland, but if I recall correctly they had more wins. These Bulldogs were fun to watch and always won with class. I think they fell to the best team in the state the last three years. Thanks for all the great memories and hard work. LETS KEEP IT GOING JR??™S!!!!!!

I watched South Pittsburg defeat my beloved bulldogs on Friday night and they are a very good football team. However, their defense never really stopped Hampton??™s offensive attack Hampton simply stopped themselves with dumb penalties that got them into long 3rd downs. The pirates were a lot more physical than I though they would be. I assumed they would be a team that relied on speed on the outside corners but they ran it right down our throat. They also have a lot of speed on the outside so if you worry about Robinson up the middle they will swing it outside for a large gain. It??™s really a pick your poison type of offense. All of that being said I think South Pitt will defeat Mckenzie in a shoot out. 49 - 42

I think that if you look at the stats at the end of the game and Hampton is the leader in time of possession they will win this football game. I don??™t think we want to get in a shootout with this explosive offense. Hopefully the Dogs will take advantage of the size difference on the line and control the football.
