It was on the front page of the local newspaper. we have a great plan though. dont forget we werent able to us #5 much last week and we still had 300yds rushing. does anyone know if whitehaven coverd the feild before the rain hit?

Saying that they should have used the fullback more is not second guessing considering he ran all over us the first time we played blackman . i was praying that #34 didnt run the ball much and my prayers came through. I am too surprised that they didnt throw mathers the screen more in the 4th. It says a lot about our players and coaching when you realize we beat a very good blackman team after giving up three turnovers while using 2nd and 3rd string RB's. i am very proud of this team !

why are all these Maryville people on this thread talking about Smyrna ? Your next game is with Oakridge. are disapointed that you may have to play us if we beat whitehaven ? its like your mad that we support our smyrna team or something....

Its true ! You can find it on M*xPr*ps.com . Smyrna ranks 36 in the nation and 2 in the state ( #1 in 6a) Whitehaven ranks 282 in the nation and 11 in the state Blackman ranks 121 in the nation and 7 in the state. Im just sayin....!

We didnt have our best running back,but, our back-ups did a dang good job. I see you Kece,Thompson and St Cloud. Also big ups to Steve, I see you out there giving yr all,also O-line ( Big Chris ,Nate ,Cisco)you guys are doing the dang thang. I dont even have to mention the "Hit Squad " .You guys re-adjusted the attitudes of some of the best RB's in the state.I want to see some new guys earn the right to belong to the "HIT SQUAD "! I want the Bulldogs to memorize this speech and repeat it duing the game against Whitehaven.... HIT SQUAD !!!

Friday nite at 7pm all of the stats that matter will be set at zero for both teams. The only stat taht will matter when the game is over are the points scored that nite.....

dis 7AAA is ranked 8th in the nation and we beat everyone in our district some twice. Im sure some of those teams were at least close to whitehaven tallent. Now to the important stuff...where is Neeley's ?

Smyrna is a very good running team and a good passing team, however, we will take what the defense is willing to gvie us. Blackman has one of the best D's in the state and we had over 300 hundred yards rushing without our best runningback last nite.Smyrna will not be like any team whitehaven has faced in the playoffs.Befor lastnites win smyrna was ranked #30 in the country and #1 defense in the state. How about a map to Neelys or Monels

The teams that WH has faced in the playoffs had regular season records of 5and5, 7and3 , and 6and 4. So far they havent faced a team in the playoffs that are the caliber of Smyrna. They are a fast team but the same was said about Mt julliet. I think Smyrna wins this one !
