Any results for the high school division? How was the turnout ?

And where my friend will Cole and Chanse Hayes of Baylor fall ? Chanse has defeated Duncan at an off-season tournament this so I think he should give Duncan a run for his money once again. And before I get Coach T bullied I understand it was off-season and I did not say he WILL beat Duncan. Is Jeff Francis really planing on jumping up to 135 ?

Bad date ? yes as I mentioned on a thread before. But a spectacular tournament to get back in the gist of things. I really regret that we will not be able to make the trip on that ACT date. Looking for results though !!!

From what I recall 119 and 125 were combined and Ethan Hames of Pride (Bradley) won 130 Logan Biddy of Pride (Bradley) 135 Trevor Herron of Pride (Bradely) This is all I recall because these were the weights my boys wrestled at. Adam Peters Cleveland won HWT This is the best I can do sorry its not much. Wonderfully run tournament as always by the way. Hate it that we wont be able to make the next tournament date due to it being an ACT date.

These are tournaments were wonderful the year before. Goes by pretty fast and allows wrestlers a fair amount of mat time. Great way to get on the mats and prepare for the Super 32 as well as the beginnning of season. Will there most likley be combined weight classes within the highschool division ? And will challenging be pemitted at the conclusion of the tournament this year ?

Should be decent. With strenghts in Johnson, Chandler, Jones, and Ashmun. As far as winnning region it willbe tough for each one. Johnson has rivals in Greer and Chandler would have to get past Mintlow as for Ashmun it depends on what weight he decides to go. And last but but not least Jones will be in it with a propable Garrett at that wight or Colbert.

My dear friend, nununu long time no see. So check it I got some news for you. You say Ace has been at off-season tournaments and claim that he wrestled at 125. Well from what I seen he's been wrestling 135 for the majority of the off-season and even wrestled up to 140 & 145 to get more matches. Check it at tennwrestling.com for the BOB Duals and freestyle. You say Lillard will go no higher than 130 and thats the only thing I agree with you on. Soboun at 112 do you really think he can beat Vongsompanh if he stays down. And the race for HWT could be intresting but as you are entitled to your opionions I am the same. Cant wait tell your words of wisdom

My godness I completly overlooked him. Holman truly is extremly tough. As soon as he gets into the rhythmn of things again he will give several a run for there money once again.

Randol Ridley of EL if he makes weight tough kid fought hard against Soboun in the region finals last year.

Josue Brown can possibly be a contender as well. That kid has some serious muscle on him. Made it to state as a freshman at 125 last year beating a senior for third. Williams of Glencliff should also be an extremly improved wrestler as well. Him and Ace have attended a good amount of off season tournaments and camps and both are ready for the season to begin. If you dont mind werazzlin i'd like to return the question and ask who you are ?

If Ace is to go 135 it truly would become a seriously packed weight class. To be truthful I see Greer takeing 135. Tsegaye is a decent wrestler but I dont think he has the strenght to contend at that weight class.

Has Aguilar already beat Tsegaye ? Have they ever matched up. This could possibly be a good matchup !! Anyone else have an opinion. ?

Thats the good thing about Coach T !!!! No one knows who you are. But to get to the point I am simply a true supporter of the Glencliff Colts. Thats what I really am. So who do you see winning 135 bud

Iheard that Lilliard is going 135? so he has grown significantley this past offseason? Where did you get that info from ? Thats a pretty big jump after remaining at 119 two consecutive years in an effort to remain at a light weight class. But my dear friend werazzlin that sure would make for an exciting weight class to watch at region. With possible contenders such as Lillard, Greer, Johnson, and Muniz. Whos your top pick ?

Anyone have opinions on what region 7 wrestlers will place in state. I am thinking around 5 or 6 Soboun is almost a guaratantee unless he gets to big Lillard should be able to pull through Aguilar time and time goes down hard at state but dont see it happening this year Nick Johnson came one away from placing last year but will have a big rival in Greer Garrett should be a guarantee as long as all goes well Mintlow has the muscle but does he have the witt HL HWT if i am not mistaken I dont see him as a senior Anybody else have an opinion on the weight classes in region 7 for next year. I think that favored wrestler at 112 you had in mind was the same I was thinking at state. Does this favored wrestler by any chance come from a school with blue school colors. HINT HINT

So truly how much weight is considered avg to cut for wrestling. Some say 5-10 lbs others say 15-20 lbs. I've seen several wrestlers cut this much weight from time and time again but is this advisable ? I wanted to hear some of yalls opinions on how much weight on avg is cut by a wrestler to reach there desired weight class. Is its 5 lbs 10 lbs 15 lbs or maybe even 20 lbs. You wont believe how many 121 lbers cut down to 103.

Muniz can possibly be 130 during season and has also been attending offseason tournements. And as for Mintlow and Hinkle Mintlow pinned pinned Hinkle in a glenlciff east. lit match. It is extremly possible for Garrett and Mintlow to go at it at a least one tournament. It was a good match between the two until Garrett ended up injurying his shoulder during the match making for a injury default.
