Yes i agree this is region 7's chance to make some noise. I know for sure Glencliff will make a good showing being lead by two time placer Nick Steiner both his freshmen and sophmore year. Another placer you missed is Richard Williams who placed 8th last year. The 112 at the Cliff also has a chance at placing. Mintlow will also probably crack another couple of wins that might have him place. The 215 and the HWT should also both place

I stongly agree with u on that he does have a mean shot but i understand why its complicated on finishing on somebody as tall as Aguilar so here are predictions for 112 1. Frankie Nuffio 2. Luis Aguilar 3. Patrick Vohnsanpong Any objections if not lets move up to the 119 weight class 1. Antonio Lillard 2. Eric Rucker 3. Richard Williams As always the result between Lillard and Rucker should be close anybody else u guys think that will go to state at 119

enough bout the 103's lets go up a weight class to the 112's. I know the 112 regional championship match is going to be a rematch of last years at the same weight class. But does anyone believe Nuffio can pull past Luis especially putting int the factor this is Nuffios senior and is looking to place at state. I cant think of any other wrestlers to watch out for at that weight class. What do u all think

Whateva anyway does anyone believe Soboun will make 103 ? does anyone believe Rucker will make 119 ? does anyone believe Greer will make 125 ?

I dont know why u made it neseccary to put it in those terms. and its spelled slaughter. I seriously doubt Soboun makeing 103 even with the 2 lbs execption. And if does i don doubt he will beat Glencliffs 103 i mean hes a freshmen with almost no experience. Lets say soborn don make weight come region time he wont be able to wrestle 112 because Nuffio will be there and wont be able to go 119 because Rucker will be there at 125 Greer will probably be there. So word of advice to Soborn make the weight and next year take the place of Nuffio if not say good bye to state.

The 103 from Glencliff (Bekas) will return and will probably be prepared to wrestle at the ryan

How could i have forgot about the match between Glenclffs 119 and MLK's 119. I know for sure Williams will remain at 119 even for region but does any one know where Ashmun will go for region. By the way i believe Pegram pinned E.J. Smith twice ever since the match up when Pegram was majored by Smith. Anybody else have any ideas on who else has the potential for a good match.

I hate putting the attention on Lillard and Rucker again but why areu sure Rucker will win i mean i gave my reasons why i would assume for Lillard to win. And when u say the outcome will be the same with Garrett and Colbert do you mean he will be pinned 1 st period or just that Garrett will win. Somebody else throw some names up on what two wrestlers would make for a good match.

Now what that got to do with my exam grades. Plus its been a while since i've been to school i just spectate. Secondly i dont recall saying Tsegaye can beat Rucker but i did say Antonio will beat Rucker again. Enough with the attention on those two patricualar athlethes and change the topic to the region as a whole. So does anyone have any predictions on who is going to shine at region at the heavier weight classes ? Anybody have any ideas on what would make a good match at region ? Or matches that are always good to watch ? and who u expect to win? Mintlow vs Chandler 145 Mintlow ( 4 sure 2 be a good match though ) Osataile vs Lett 135 Lett ( if he could make it to more tournaments and matches with East Lit) Garrett vs Colbert 140 Garrett ( i hope this will be a good match and not a blow out with Garrett as winna Aguilar vs Nuffio aka NUNU 112 Aguilar ( it gets close then far then close again never know with the two) Lillard vs Rucker 119 Lillard ( but thats my opinion )

Gee nunu u must be a die hard Antioch fan. How do you believe Rucker will defeat Lillard after Lillard beat him as well as beat the kid (Sean Ford) that TECKED Rucker at the Harpeth Finals ? I mean i do believe different people match up differnetly but he was TECKED. I mean if it were like the match of Tsegaye and Lillard where they ended up going for third and fourth and ended up going into OT with Lillard leaving the mat a winner then u can make an anology such as Rucker could beat Tsegaye. Yet u say u dont see Lillard beating Rucker i mean look at the facts. What do u think when i put it like that ?

Yes it really sounds like Glencliff really has a stong lower weight class line. But how bou the bigger boys at the Cliff. Starting with Mintlow at 140 his athleticism is extremly enjoyable to watch. At 52 the on of the Clemons boys has been extremly peak ever since his contoversial lost to Oxford at the McGavock Tournament i think it was. At 60 there is a first year junior that is improving. skip 171 @ 189. @ 215 Pegram has defeated everbody in his weight class at region. And HWT there is the other Clemons brother who has extremly improved. p.s. i heard glencliffs 103 will be returning

Why does it sound like u fear Steiner @ 130. Do you have a son that is planing on winning region at that weight class but wont be able to w/ Steiner at 130? Ur an Antioch fan aren't you so who's at 130 there? Aaha, May i add Steiner has defeated or come close to defeating amazing wrestlers such as Childers of White House and Klienert of Beech both at 135 and a difference of 1 or 2 points each time and has defeated McGavocks tournament champion @ 140 Everett Colbert by a substantial amount.

I am almost 100 percent sure Steiner will go 130 come region time and if he makes it 130 will not doubt be his. He might even end up taking teammates Reams spot as region 7's outstanding wrestler. Any objections ?

What was score with Lillard and Ford was it a close match or did it go into overtime what happened does anyone know how an unknown defeated a 2X state placer if i am not wrong

I know it maybe a little early but does anybody have any idea on who might take the Outstanding Wrestler award this year at the region 7 individuals ? Reams will not be able to defend his OW award if he dosent plan on returning

How could i have forgotten about Rucker from Antioch. But I do recall Lillard defeated him as well with a tight match 0f 2-1 Lillard walking as the winner. Moving down if am correct Tsegaye of Glencliff was 3 a way from majoring Henderson of EL. At 130 i seriously doubt Yahya getting to 130 especially with his issue of a dehydrated kidney. I still believe Steiner will go to 30 if he can make it for the Father Ryan. And Lett of Strafford/EL will come out as region champ. Garett will take 40 like its noting maybe having trouble with Colbert McGavock. 45 will be intresting with Mintlow and Chandler but Mintlow is knowen to pull through. I doubt the return of Holman but it would be intresting seeing GLs 52 and Antiochs 52 go at it once again. EL Gamble will probably take 60. 71 Belongs to DCA without a doubt. Not sure of the heavy boys. Comment or correct me let me see your predictions for region 7

McLovin 008 i am behind you all the way. Just thought i'd leave some stuff about the past. Last year Steiner of GL defeated Klienart of Beech like 4 or 5 times evertime they met. Steiner i believe will never let what happened at the Harpeth happen ever again. Mintlow from GL as well beat the Beech kid by PIN at least three times this year so i wouldn't worry about him either. - Glencliff back to back regions champs yes that means this year it will be Glencliffs got a problem with it deal w/ it on judgment day on January 24 nunu you especially aint ready 4 GLencliff

i will have to agree with McLovin on several things dealing with the Antioch and Glencliff match at the Beech duals semi-finals. Several core components of there team sadly ended up handing crucial points to Antioch such as the HWT and the 125/130 . But as always i simply state the facts and that is that Glencliff will once again pull through the region duals and maybe even the indivduals in region. Judgment Day January 24 @ ANTIOCH HIGH SCHOOL just like last year Glencliff will take the gold on Antiochs home mats

Its sad to say but true to be that Glencliff will once again pull off as region champs. Several forfeits were passed to Antioch @ the Beech Duals but i seriously doubt there will be that many forfeits at the region duals. i will all though admit Antioch is beginning to become a strong team but Glencliff always pulls through later in the year. p.s. MAy i remind u antioch won most tournament over Glencliff through all last year but Glencliff was able to pull through and take it WHERE IT MATTERED
