dumdum,things have looked much more organized this year! We have spent most of the time working on offense. Good numbers out, running about 45. Large freshman class. We have eased into fall practice this year with very little contact to this point. The coaches have focused on plays and execution! Today is supposed to have a lot of contact. That is where we find out if the freshmen can help this fall. Keep working hard chiefs! Go Chiefs!

I don't think anyone thinks Polk will struggle! Polk will win the district! Everyone else will struggle! It will be a dog fight for all the places except First! Good Luck chiefs!

The Monroe County Mudcats finished the summer with a 20-8 record. We won three of the six tournaments we played this year. Champions of the East TN Bash, Cleveland State Classic, and the Southeastern Showcase! Congratulations to all the young men that will be moving on the play college baseball next year! We are having a great year so far. We have won our first two tournaments!(East TN Bash and Cleveland State Classic) We are 12-1 on the year.

1) Polk 2) Central 3) Sequoyah 4) Sweetwater 5) Meigs Polk will dominate the district this year! Central lost a lot but until someone proves they can beat them I have to keep them in second. Sweetwater and Meigs have new coaches and I think there will be some adjusting time for both teams. Sequoyah returns a lot but has to add depth and improve offensively! Good luck to all teams!
