Don't forget that the town of Gibson students go to Medina schools as well. The boundaries will not be the Medina city limits. Also, remember that Medina students have been coming to GCHS for 28 years and some people in Medina are just as loyal to GC as you are. The "original" Medina folks can't be blamed for the growth of their town. I'm sure that some of them would like to have it back just the way it was. I believe that the new high school will make GCHS that much better. GC school was built for 600 students and I hear that it is almost 900 at this time. Just remember - not everyone in Medina wanted their own school. The realtors in that area really did a number on folks that moved there - promising them a high school. With growth comes good and bad, so be thankful to live in a small community.

the boundarie line will start at the town of gibson. i dont see how the realtors can have control if a high school will be built or not and. how will it make gc better yea the numbers will be down and have more room in the school but its going to kill the football program and hurt girls basketball a little but moving to single a will actual help the girls we will see how all this works out though

i agree with ya hater nation she should be for sure. if u asked me buttler reedy and griffin could all be up for ms basketball i know them all pretty well and have seen them play since they was freshman they all work hard on and off the court as well and they are all great girls to be around and i wish them the best of luck next year

One shooter? I think you may be confused, South Greene is known for being a balanced team. There are five players who often score in double digits and you never know which one will score the most. They are the definition of a team...they play together and always know where their teammates are. Oh, and by the way...one of those five I just mentioned comes off the bench.

it really amazes me how you give the west tn teams no chance, you say it takes a good team to get this far and there are two teams from 13aa in the final four of the state. they did what they had to do and they are now there wheree everyone wants to be at this time of the year. lets make it an all district 13aa state championship!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking on behalf of BTW, Gibson County is the real deal! They do an excellent job making the game look easy. They make adjustments within the game that makes it tough to come in with a game plan. We came in with the attention of shutting Heather down, which we did a good job of keeping someone on her #24 made it very difficult for her to find open looks but she found other way of scoring. They shoot the ball very well and stay loyal to their game plan. They are loaded, I think it was their subs that came in and made the run for them. We where just not deep enough to keep up with them. We tried to slow the game down by not pressing with hope to get it inside to our bigs, however they do a good job of controlling the tempo. I thought we could have made it a little more interesting if we could have got that 3rd foul call on heather before halftime, in my opinion I thought she should have got one of our #23 on a one on one play but it was not called and she finished with 25 despite a box and one all night. By the way DONT FOUL GIBSON COUNTY, they only missed 1 freethrow all night!! Go luck Gibson County, it makes it easier knowing you lost to the State Champs.

i have watched gc alot and if anybodyelse saw them alot to would have to say thats the worse they have shoot all year and the worst first half they have played all year. but when they come to play their the real deal their chances bring home the ship are great for this year and next jus got to take it one game at a time

Thank you, Very much!! I hope your input will stop the ignorancy of everyone down grading the players and Coach McCord at Dyer County! When one team has die hard fans the others can't stand it. Dyer County's fans are among the best , so I believe they have the right to be proud of their team and when people try down grading they should get angry and strive to make their team look better because apparently Dyer County is a better team, or they wouldn't have beat all the other teams and win the District Championship!! Again, I think you for the post!! I wish everyone could behave in a straight forward manner like adults as you did yourself instead of childish, he said she said, playground talk.

Does the GC win now set up a possible rematch of OC and GC if OC can pull off a road win? If so, that would be the game to watch. I believe I read that OC matched up with GC pretty good. I may have to make that game if it happens. Correct me if I am wrong on this. Thanks

i dont think oc match up with gc all gc has to do is stop fussel and that game is not even close but easier said then done if oc stop one of gc players they still have to stop 4 others i think they are are going to play and i think westview is going to make it to state with no problem now

i agree they had way to much talent to get put out the first round of district i think they could have been 2nd or 3rd

this year yea it was to years ago when gc made it to region they beat a very good humboldt and dc team and upset dburg in the district tourny but coach hart did a good job being his first year and all

im a gc fan to but the refs didnt lose that game for gc yea the kid from milan did the same thing josh did

but the refs gave josh a bunch of times to be quite and he did it one more time and they got him he have to jus be quit and jus play ball he shoud have known that to because he is a senior and like gc said they missed like 6 free throws in a row

jenkins is better like gc said he is a complete player you dont have to watch him play on a regular basis if u watch him play in person one time u can jus tell he jus got it
