  1. Thank you for the correction, however, as sad as it is, you still don't get it. Ryan beat BA and you can't let it go calling me a cry baby or now, impersonating one. This must really sting. See previous post. Even you should be able to get it. P.S. See the Tennessean today for an update. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  2. Not mad at the world, you made that up. Not crying, another made up by you. Still bringing up football? Did you realize that ended 2 months ago. Can't accuse our 140 for running, he has been there, he was moved up, so who is running? Please read last sentence of preivous post, Ignorance is no excuse.
  3. Glad to see Coach Peden back for Ryan. Best of health Coach.
  4. Ryan did not have a wrestler go 140 to avoid, they moved their 140 up to 145 to wrestle Cash. Ignorance is no excuse.
  5. BoroRef, You need to calm down. I have seen most officials in Nashille as well as most in Chattanooga so I feel that I can back it up as this is not a generalization. If you had been at the Ryan tournament calling, you would have seen stalling called frequently throughout the tournament until the finals started. Stalling was called against all teams until the finals. There are some great officials in Nashville, however, stalling was rarely called at the BA match. This is not a generalization. This is my opinion and I believe if you watch the tape, you probably would agree. I even felt like a couple of the Ryan wrestlers stalled and it was not called and it was pretty obvious.
  6. Do you realizae there is a football board? You constantly talk about football. This is wrestling. Was not taking anything away from BA's 2 victories out of 14, just a matter of fact, they got undressed in their own gym. Good coaching decision, run, run, run. Should be proud.
  7. I believe Marchetti will go back to 140 because it is better for the team at the State. The chance to compete against Cash was the dual. Also, nothing against Miller, Marchettis is the better wrestler. As for the stalling, the Ryan 103 lb wrestler should have been called in the 3rd period as Carlos worked very hard in trying to turn him. No problem with a call there, however, I believe you are mistaken about 215. This is the weight class that BA forfeited. BA's heavyweight stalled the entire match and it took Herman about 3.5 minutes to catch him. You know this as this was not the only weight class that was dominated by the stall.
  8. Missing 135, 140, 160, 171, bumped from 130 - 160, started 4 freshmen & 1 8th graders. Does this ring a bell? I am not trying to fight. Where did you get this? Are you reading the same post. Somebody posted about the parents from Ryan and I told you how the BA parents acted. The Ryan parents yelled stalling all night because that is what BA did. If this is trying to fight, than you are stretching it. Besides, I doubt there would be a fight because you would either forfeit or bump up a weight class. You are correct in that MBA & BA humiliated Ryan in football, however, I am trying to determine what you would call winning 12 out of 14 matches, spanked, roasted, assaulted. I guess this explains their strategy. Excellent performance.
  9. As a frequent viewer of this board, I feel I must respond to what has been said. Fan6, you stated the Ryan fans needed to conduct themselves in the same class as the wrestlers. What are you talking about? Was it that the fans where yelling stalling all night because BA had one gear (Reverse) or when they were on the bottom (sewed their stomachs to the mat). Or, are you talking about the idiot fan sitting on the front row who challenged the Ryan fans to a match during the Heavyweight match because they kept yelling stalling as Herman chased the BA wrestler around the mat? I have not seen so much backtracking from a team since Marion Jones went to court!!!!!!!!! Ryan drop kicked the BA tail and that is all there is to it. BA ran when Ryan bumped Marchetti to 145 and ducked out at 215. Case closed. It was not like they were trying to win the match because the match was never in doubt. Ryan did to BA in wrestling what BA did to Ryan in football. No excuses, stop the crying, it becomes you. I will agree both teams wrestlers handled themselves with class after the match. Case in point, if you want to wrestle with the big boys, wrestle them, don't duck and hide and weave and run. Stalling is stalling regardless of what year you are. NashRef, when did the referees start swallowing their whistles when it came to stalling? Your comment about the Ryan fans was condescending. I guess we will have to wait to see a good ref as well? Or, will they ship in somebody from Chattanooga who knows what stalling is? It doesn't have to hit you in the side of the face to call it. Next time, bring your track shoes, pointed spikes would be preferable.
