Fairview beat Cheatam Co. tonight in Fairview 32-20. So to all the 97% of people who picked Cheatm Co. to win, well you lost. I wish I could have been there to witness it myself. Well I will have to see what ClamClam has to say about this. With a Lewis Co. win tonight. Fairview will host its first playoff game in a very longtime. That is a great accomplishment but I tell you he will not win Mr. Football for the fact reporters are very biased in their choices. Last Year Aaron Cothran led the state in rushing and midstate in scoring and didnt win the award. Why? Dont ask me, but I think if you put up those kinda of numbers you deserve some credit, maybe it will change this year.

I think if the Jackets can jump on the Cubs early and establish their running game thwy can win the game. While the Cubs have to jump on the Jackets early and not let them hang around. The crowd will be a factor as it is Senior Night. This year's seniors learned from us(last year's seniors) not to blow a chance at 2nd place in the region and a home playoff game. Well I am sorta biased towards Fairview, but I know they have it in them to upset the Cubs. They will have to play turnover free ball and get on top of Cheatam Co, early. I think with it being senior night and 2nd place in the region on the line, the Jackets will come out ready to play. Look for BIG JOE Hudigins, Charlie Hilgerson, Dusty England, Jarrod Mangrum and the rest of the seniors to have a big night. Also Bobby Martin will also have to have a big night if they would like to pull out the win.

Great Job Fairview!! Way to come through in a must win game. Man Loretto has gotta be tired of getting beat by Fairview. Four times in baseball last year and this year in football. What were the details of the game?

I have been on both sides of a blowout and I tell you this, it is better for both teams to play their best until halftime. For one the conditioning and two it putsd your best against their best. Yes, page was kicking some tail, but I bet MC is better aftre tonight because they played had against a quality opponent. I would take it more of an insult if the bench started playing in the first half than the second.

The definition of a prank- A. malicious act B. mildly mischievous act C. a ludicrous act. Now the act these kids did were all of these so how can you say that it wasn't prank. Now most of the time pranks do break the law but we have all broken the law and if you say you havent then you are lying. They are young kids who made mistake. I know when I was in high school I did some stupid stuff and was punished for it. Now I am a better person for it, and I know these kids will be beter people for it. I have a question though, why wasnt the helmets locked up or put away and not in open sight. I am in no way saying that this is the excuse for the act. I have never said the act was fine, it was stupid. But some people on here want to give the kids the death penalty for their crime. Now to the person who said kid look up to these high school players, that is wrong for the fact no one should look up to an athlete as a role model. Parents should be role models not an athlete. But once again, people have blown this way out of proportion there are bigger problems in high school football that include things like kids taking drugs and not getting caught and players having their grades given to them so they can stay eligible.

So dont go into the profession of being a cop anytime soon because you can't figure out anything.I just think its sad that we incriminate these kids on a thread. They are suffering enough. Well if you say you have never sped, well all i can say you are one strange guy. The reason I posted on this thread is that a similar situation happened at our school and we didnt get on here and post anything about it. Its the school's problem not anyone else.

No offense to Drew Hayes but if David Sharpe was in Mckenzie's offense, he would be putting up better numbers than Hayes. I could only imagine seeing Sharpe in a shot gun set with four wide recievers, not only does Sharpe have a cannon, he can run like the wind. So Hayes will never be as good an athlete as Sharpe and since Sharpe is in an offense that runs 85-90% of the time, he cant put up big numbers. Also Hayes is complimented by great players on his team, so is Sharpe but I believe that Sharpe makes his players better while Hayes feeds off his players. Having played against both players, I would give the advantage to Sharpe.

Region4Fan I think this subject has no meaning to you and you are poking your head where it isnt needed. CeCe came on here to tell everyone the situation is being taken care of. Enough said, she is a parent at the school with a son on the team so I bet she has a better understanding then all of us. She shoudlnt have to explain to you anything, it is very cowardly of you to come on here and demand what happened. The kids are learning, and I bet they are paying for it in practice and at home. The helmets were returned the teams they were stolen from are big enough schools that they didnt need an extra two or three helmets. I bet the kids had to make an apology and playing time could be cut. So just let the coaches and administrators take care of the situation because all you are doing is trying to add more gasoline to the fire. We have all done stupid stuff in our life, and we had to pay the consequences and I know these kids will be better people because of it. Probably not, Speeding is more serious than stealing a couple of helmets, speeding could result in death. I have done these things and realize it. Playmakers, I promise you that Sharp is that strong, he is a machine. He has to be the best pure athlete in 2A. He can do it all. He is fast, strong, great arm, and he knows how to manage a game. The only thing I dont understand is why Lewis Co. doesnt use him on defense, I know he could lay a lick. He would be a great saftey. But I know Sharp is that strong.

The thread still had some meaning because were talking about how Cheatam Co. could overlook a Loretto team that has the potential to surprise people. Now if it was closed because we were talking about ClamClam well I dont think he has a problem with that. Seems like someone is getting very uptight with closing post. Seems to me you didnt make high quality H20 for your cubbies to win so they feel short. Dont worry about Fairview, they are molding together after losing 13 seniors last year.

Hey there NecknGuns, well it is going alright here. How is it down here in Howenwald? I know you guys are gettting ready to take on my Jackets. I believe the winner of this game will win region. I honestly believe for the jackets to win the game they will have to play mistake free ball and score in the redzone when they get there. Lewis Co. has a great tradition of football and I miss getting ready to prepare for you guys but I will be coming home from Jackson to see the game. But now back to ClamClamChowder, man I never thought I would say this but I miss the little guy. I loved coming on here seeing what he had to say. Well let's just say the Fairview team you saw in week two is nothing like the current team. I take it you saw them play Westmoreland when we had two interceptions in the red zone and the defense was horrible. Well I will tell you this they are greatly improved, they havent recruited anyone new but they have a new mentality, so I say it is unfair to judge a team over one game. But it will be a good game and I believe the team that makes the less mistakes will win the game.

Well I am not going to make a prediction here because I am kinda biased toward the Jackets. But I will promise you this the winner of the game will win the Region Championship. I believe if the Jackets do beat the Panthers then they will have momentum into the last two games to win them. Of course if the Panthers win then they will easily win out and take another region championship. I believe the Fairview offense will have to play mistake free and the defense needs to cause some turnovers. While the Panthers need not to come into this game thinking it will be a piece of cake and they must take care of the football. I will be in Fairview this week for the game and it should be a great one.

Well if you consider going 27-8 in baseball and reaching the Sectionals bad then yeah i guess we were pretty bad in baseball.See there is that hostility again, I am not on here talking smack, heck I dont even play anymore.
