  1. I followed the Red Tigers from Lexington all season and even though they had a great season it nice to see a team worthy of a state championship still in the hunt . Lexington had 6 losses in there season , 3 of those teams they lost to , Bolivar , David Lipscomb and Bartlett are still playing for the states championship . Good Luck Green Tigers !!
  2. Bartlett has such a great pitching staff I got to make a call for them to be back in championship game
  3. send me some lotto numbers ,,,great call ! The first inning of this game looked like the bad news bears , 7 errors in a game will sink you every time . NO defense , and no hitting . pitcher was getting ground balls and fly out balls , no players in the field acted like they wanted to make a play . Travel to David Lipscomb today , BIG RED better have a fire or they will be embarrased..........
  4. Lexington conceeded home field advantage ? nuetral site for a game this big ?? WOW , I`m shocked
  5. I agree with you there gerry Bertier,,,, seems like they had options earlier but didn`t act ,,,now options are VERY limited . I would hate to see Franklin Road Academy or David Lipscomb advance because our crappy weather forced back to back games just to decide who would host a game between red and green Tigers.
  6. Playing on a muddy unsafe field would have been an even worse choice . it rained hard for about 2 hours right at sundown last night , if they would have tried to play it would have rained in the last innings . Everyone would love to see this matchup ,but not if the players aren`t safe.
  7. The field conditions are awful in Lexington , we got more rain last night when most of the area didn`t . supposed to rain most of the day today . It would not benefit Red Tigers or Green tigers to have to play today, then again tomorrow in an elimination game .
  8. The Wednesday game was pushed to Thursday ,, now the rains are not helping an already soggy field , What happens if they can`t play tonight , what does Friday sectional game look like ?
  9. Big Red Tigers are back in the saddle and riding toward Spring Fling . Yes , they did lose to GC , Jackson South Side , Bolivar and Bartlett . But were able to win against the other 27 teams they played this year including a District Championship over a VERY good Bolivar squad and Monday nights Regional win over Sycamore 7-3 . GO TIGERS !
  10. All 4 games this season have been great,,, with the Red tigers taking 3 of 4 . This is a big one, to determine who hosts and travels in a Friday game that sends teams to spring fling. any thoughts ?
  11. Lexington left WAY to many players stranded on bags !! Hitting with runners in scoring position has been one of the few problems big red has had this season . Great win ! Bolivar shut out a pretty good Waverly team and now hit the road for a Wednesday night show down @ Lexington . Only 14 AA teams left standing across the state . Good luck Red Tigers , Friday nights game puts a team in STATE !
  12. JCS - A Lexington -AA Farragot-AAA
  13. I`m sure JCS will have Patrick Taggert on the mound , that combined with some consistant hitting , I think JCS will take this one . Close !
  14. You are correct , I have no Dyersburg game I saw this season to use as reference . Sounds lik eit should be a great match
  15. I only saw USJ play one game this season that was a win over defending state AAA champs Bartlett . Dyersburg better be hungry , USJ is a complete team .. great bats , pitching , and defense . Elimination games are big motivators ,,,,,wouldn`t put to much $$ on an " upset "
