Just got an email that Tyler Brown, assistant coach at Columbia Academy got the Head coaching job at Santa Fe... he has no head coaching experience... must be a certification thing (biology)....

Who is in line for the Central job...

Who did Hampshire hire to coach the girls basketball team...

Who has applied for the job... this would be a good job for any coach that wants to build a program.. Lexington has some good athletes and a good athletic program....

He left and went back to Jackson... Was told today that Coach Moore at Central finally got her wish... was transfer to another school and now the Girls Head coaching position is open at Central.... Mt. Pleasant may not get a coach because of not been able to find a coach that is certified in the subjects that are available at the school... Santa Fe is starting interviews next week... there are a lot of good applicants bec of the PE certification that was posted... CA hired inhouse and got Coach Bingham who has not coached basketball in 15 years.... Hampshire is in the same boat as Mt. Pleasant... not able to find anyone that meets their certification issues...

Time is running out and summer is fast approaching.... none of the 6 high school girls basketball coaching jobs in Maury County has hired any new coaches.... this is not fair to the girls and the summer is an important time to get the girls ready for the upcoming season... not sure what the hold out is ....

From what I have been told... Maury County Schools is in a huge budget crunch and are not hiring outside of the county only in-house.... Santa Fe, Culleoka, Mt. Pleasant, Hampshire, and Central have openings of head coaching positions in girls basketball and rumor is Spring Hill is coming open next week... Principals are forced to find a staff member in house to coach because of the budget crunch and Principals being told not to hire outside of Maury County schools .... Does anybody within the schools system know anything different... this is really not fair for the girls athletics....

Talk around Franklin County and Moore County is Coach Tipps who was the former girls coach at Moore County and is now at Loretto is coming back and is frontrunner to take over job.... Coach Wild and Coach Tipps are very close friends and Coach Tipps would be a perfect fit since he and Wild are very similar in coaching styles...

Saw on the TSSAA website that the Mt. Pleasant girls job is open.... also heard the girls job at Spring Hill is also coming open as well... any news on these two positions......

Now that basketball season is over... any head coaching positions open... has anyone applied for the Mt. Pleasant girls job.... heard Spring Hill girls job may be open again.... any news...

About the middle school team... I understand they have some good 8th graders coming up.... any 6th or 7th graders that are coming up as well..... I also understand there are some talent walking the halls at both the middle and high school.... got to have a coach the players can connect with and then the success will follow.....

After watching the game Friday night with Collinwood...MP girls have now lost 100 straight... what is next.... are they going to get a new coach or will the losing streak continue....

Summertown loses their top two pitchers, Collinwood loses three starters, Perry County has the best pitcher in 12 A and only loses one starter from last year.... who is the team to beat this year in 12 A

Summertown returns a nucleus of their team from last year... will they still be the team to beat in 12 A.... is Mt. Pleasant and Wayne County the only teams that can catch them....

Is that like 93 losses in a row for MP.... what is the deal there.... time for a coaching change maybe....

Were they starters and what grade are they in... why did they quit.....

Who were the two players that did not suit up for the game... did they quit.... what happened...

I have attended half of the SH basketball games and they still look the same as last year.... the coach seems to "give up" after the 2nd or 3rd quarter.... it goes back to the earlier posts by some of you... Spring Hill does not care about the girls athletics and certainly did not get a coach that knows the game... the coach for the girls has never coached a game till this year and the girls were in need of a top notch coach.... the school has tons of talent and ability but the administration does not care and they even do not attend the games... it is not fair to the girls and shows a lack of professionalism....

So what about number 46 (Holt?), I heard from a MTP fan during halftime that he only attended school Thursday and Friday this week and missed Mon to Wed and the quote was.... he always misses one or two days of school a week and still plays on Friday night..... the fans went on to say .... there are several on the sideline that attend practice five days a week as well as attend school five days a week... so is that right... what kind of discipline is that...... the fan also went on to say that several "starters" on the team miss "tons of practice and school" and "still plays every down on Friday night.... care to elaborate.....
