All, The Tennessee Wrestling Federation wants to list all Saturday tournaments from around the state (D1 and D2). So please if you are a coach, parent, or a wrestler and you know the tournaments schedule for your school, please post it. NAME OF TOURNEY, DATE, LOCATION, AND WHAT TEAMS WILL BE ATTENDING. Remember there are allot of people from around the state that want to catch some good wrestling and they need somewhere to go and find out where the good tournaments are. Please pass this one as the state of TN DOESN'T have a MASTER CALENDAR. Coaches I really need your help here, take 5 minutes and post our tourney with the teams attending so you can get some additional walk up traffic at your tournament. Thanks TWF

Hamm is onboard and approved the rankings from Boskin... Secondly I am in Middle TN and have nothing to do with Chattanooga area wrestling, not sure where you got the bias info from...

Hamm and House are still doing them.. D2 will be posted shortly and Hamm will be collaborating with Josh Boskin to give you the best results, so yes its still the same guys, nothing has changed so that would be who you called morons...

A number of good people spend time trying to put these rankings together for the wrestlers to look at. And as I can appreciate your disagreement with rankings I believe these people deserve more respect than being called morons. They have significant time in wrestling and understand trends and analyze previous years along with growth. Their is no bias to any of these as the people ranking wrestlers are in for the love of the sport, not for the glory of promotion. Thank you for your input

Tennessee High School State Rankings for D1 is posted at www.tennwrestling.com and will be posted here every week after December 6th through Regionals. Division 1 is posted now and Division 2 will be posted tomorrow. The Tennessee Wrestling Federation would like to thank Josh Boskin for his in depth Pre-Season reviews of all the D1 Wrestlers in his rankings. Division 2 has Garrett House working very hard to bring you the most accurate rankings possible. Thanks to both of these men who donate their time and efforts to make sure we have an accurate picture of our High School State Athletes that are grappling for the gold this year. Lions Pride Grappling is happy to announce that with the help of Coach Kennedy we will be bringing Lions Pride to the members of Sharp Shooters. We are excited to introduce Freestyle & Greco Roman wrestling to an outstanding program of folkstyle wrestlers. We are looking forward adding a significant group of successful wrestlers to our Pride. With this relationship Lions Pride should be the largest USAW club in the state of TN. Lions Pride Grappling is still trying to secure 2 additional locations, Williamson County and Ruthorford County. We are working with Bryan Kneeper, Head Coach of MTSU and Coach Hamm from Blackman to find a location in Ruthorford County. If you have a facility and want our program to come to you let us know ASAP... Williamson County is another area of focus for us, we would need an area where we could have 2 full mats. This is my previous post on here:::: Lions Pride is actively looking for a third/fourth location in Middle TN. We would prefer Northern Williamson Couty but any where in the county will be fine. Coaches if you have an open wrestling room on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 6-7:30 PM we want to talk to you. We will pay 10% of registration from that location back to the school as a donation back to your wrestling program or the other option is to give you school wrestling team 50% off the season fee. In this case it would be only $100 for 15 weeks of top level training for your wrestlers. We believe we can enroll around 40-50 additional wrestlers if we have a location in this geographical area. Current locations are Beech HS servicing Sumner county, Mt. Juliet - Servicing Wilson County, McGavock HS - servicing Nashville/Antioch and Northern Davidson County. Lions Pride carries additional insured insurance for Davidson, Wilson, and Sumner Counties at coverage’s 3X’s the amount required by Metro, Wilson, or Sumner Public Schools. We also carry additional club insurance as a buffer. All wrestlers have USAW cards and are insured through that. There is no exceptions to them stepping on a mat without them. We protect our wrestlers, our club, and our facility to the maximum limits. We would make this insurance provision for Williamson County as well should a school present itself in this area. We are trying to get wrestling the next level here in Middle TN and get back on the state map for producing the best wrestlers in the state. FILA/USAW allows submission grappling all the way down to Novice class which is 12 yrs of age. There is a pretty strict set of rules on what submissions are allowed and what is illegal. There isnt anything allowed around neck (crusifixes, can openers) pressure or ankle locks (heel hooks). McGavock is officially off the list of schools we had secured. There is a conflict with the amount of wrestling at McGavock and having a freestyle program there. The AD would like to limit it to a summer program which we will look into with the help of Coach Coffee, we appreciate the effort from Coach Coffee and are sorry we wont have the program there. This opens it up for us to have 2 locations in Middle TN besides Sumner Co. We would like to be in North Williamson and Nashville area (possibly Antioch). Please let us know if you have a middle school or maybe a church with a gymnasium that we could operate from . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
