I would put them in the category of really good but not great. Loveless only played one year because he had some great talent in front of him. He was maybe the best defensive infielder of the last ten years. Howard was a great defensive catcher for three years but wasn't a great hitter. I would say they are in the top 15 or 20 players. While I am on it, I will put a lineup on the field for this decade. I will do it to where you had to actually play that position in high school to start at that position on this team. For example, you could theorhetically have two shortstops on your team with one of them playing second but I won't do that. 1) Courtney English LF Rotation 2) Kyle Rowekamp CF Cody Goins 3) Bobby Bratton SS Bobby Bratton 4) Alan Lindsey DH Adam Muston 5) Grant Nickell RF Zach Gray 6) Chris Poynter 1B Eric Vanderburg 7) Thomas Browne 2B 8) Jeff Loveless 3B 9) Jay Howard C When Bratton pitches Lovett plays SS. If you wanted a better hitting lineup you could put Lindsey behind the plate and have Lovett DH or maybe Ryan Lewis. "He was maybe the best defensive infielder of the last ten years". Let me see if I've got this right. Columbia has a SS that will put Keeton in another position, a D1 catcher and a kid that will throw 90mph yet I've never heard of any of them. Columbia won the district last year,did they not? Where were these players last year. Transfers? Help me to understand C.G.

You must have inside info Columbiaguy. The kid, no names, I saw last year in Shelbyville looked like a "dear in the headlights". Maybe he improved in the off season,but I doubt he's better than Keeton,much less all the other SS in the district. Book it!

Columbia for the past 3 years was going to replace Keeton at SS. Three games into the season (maybe less) the "experiment" will end and Keeton will be back at SS. Book it.

I'd like to know the players that made all district from each school. Thank you.

Why is the Shelbyville v Lawrenceburg series being rescheduled to Mon/Tues?

I'm a Shelbyville fan and thought Lawrence Co. was going to be our toughest district team to beat. How did they lose 2 to Columbia? I thought Columbia was down this year?

What's "going on" at Siegel? Thought they are powerful this year. Problems?

No way Columbia is a top 5 team.
